Sudeśa - an ideal creative space | Pallavi in Raga Desa

The sanskrit word 'Sudeśa' could mean a culturally-refined region, an ideal place or a space with good attributes. During the first phase of covid lockdown, i felt the need to understand a dancer's dialogue with her space which is not physical but a palpable entity that breathes with every movement and repose. Set to Raga Desa, Tala Ekatali; i composed a Pallavi in Odissi system as a tribute to the dancer's space.
