Warrior was an emotional movie, & I was quite surprised how good Kurt Angle was in that movie as well. I also have to mention that Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar had one of the best rivalries as well as some of the best matches in WWE back in 2003.
If you believe those stats, you're a moron. Those are world class powerlifting stats from guys who have been powerlifting for years and weigh 300+ pounds. 475 bench and 695 squat are Lesnar's real stats.
People forget the guy was a great Amateur Wrestler and has trained with MMA guys and they have said if Kurt went MMA he would have been one of the best in his prime.
people fail to realise how strong kurt has become since his time in the WWE hes frickin past 40 and the guys a beast in the WWE he was in great ripped shape looks all bulked up now in TNA which i think suits him best
i like that kurt says ' thank god ' a lot he was one of my fav wrestlers back in the day and i think he was awesome in ' warrior ' he seems like ey very cool kind guy but i guess he has some problems i hope he makes the right decisions in the future and i wish him weel.
The movie used mixed artial arts as the vehicle to tell a dramatic story in the same way that boxing was what Stallone used for the telling the story of Rocky Balboa. For the record, I liked it because the drama worked. If you think Warrior is a MMA movie, then you missed the point entirely.
man you know about wrestling is true angles says in an interview that his body is been more beat up than ever since he started in the wwe it means wrestling is a brutal and physical sport some things are scripted or written but the pain is real
I heard back in the early 2000's when Kurt was just getting into WWE, guys would wanna "test" him all the time in some real mat wrestling. He said the only guy that could hang with him was Big Show and that was just cuz he's so huge. He didn't mention Brock tho.
haa nice observation poocha..he was a very good wrestler as well..his ankle lock often called angle lock was a pretty good move! dont knw abt his eye but for the time he stayed in WWE..he was a perfect entertainer!
goddd its kinda sad seeing how much they can change i remember buying a action figure in 2005 him all jacked up with absolutely no beard hes still doing good though!
A buddy of mine who knows Brock personally, shared this story with me. They were at a party years ago, and some drunk fella tried to pick a fight with Brock. Brock didn't think much of it, until the drunk instigator, found or had a 2x4 - swung it, nailing Brock across the side of the neck with it, broke it in half. Brock looked back at the guy, smiled, and my buddy goes, "OHHhhh You're DEAD!!" - to which, Brock began mauling the hell out of this guy. "Ape-like strength", he was sayin.
at 2m11sec when the interviewer looks away and breaks eye contact angle should of broke his freaking ankle. "im just a sexy kurt. ill make your ankle hurt"
The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker are the most electrifying superstars, but when it comes to wrestling, Kurt Angle and Lesnar top that list, as well as Bobby Lashley. Look at those guys' backgrounds.
Angle definitely looks out of it on some kinda drunk right there lol very tweaked looking, unless hes just downed a couple of coffees. Lesnar is a freak of nature and definitely not someone you see every day. He dominated in WWE and had so much athleticism and control for a new guy (to pro wrestling anyway). I mean look at his 5 star splashes he does (prior to the botched one against Angle at WM19). To be 295 and as quick and fluid as he is, that's remarkable.
Angle left WWE because when he got injured (by Lesnar BTW) McMahon would not allow him to come back. Vince forced him into retirement, felt that Angle would've been a liability. Angle proved him wrong by coming back even stronger in TNA. This was stated by Angle many times.
i missed this conversation...just seen what ya wrote and it's not fake blood. well anymore i have no clue because i havnt watched wrestling in forever but when i did, yes, they cut themselves. there's documentaries showing how they do it to prevent scarring and whatnot.
Kurt has said on Twitter that he enjoyed his time in WWE but he loves TNA and Dixie Carter & the schedule he gets at TNA he wouldn't be able to get in WWE as WWE go all over the country, TNA is at one place most of the time
Ugh no. Angle left because he went to vince's office upset and said he wasnt happy anymore in wwe. he said he felt exhaustion, and wanted time to heal his neck and other injuries. Although vince didnt want to break the contract, he allowed it. Angle has stated 2 weeks prior that meeting, he sign with TNA still under contract with WWE, which i dont believe but the point is angle just wanted to leave cuz he wasnt "THE MAN", the "IT" guy
i think he looks good. I mean, you are right, he sounds different, but he looks good. Brock and Kurt where Wrestlers. But they were Athlets in other Sports. Great.
Angle cut a lot of weight at this point. Plus having the beard and a shadow of his hair on his head instead of been close shaven all makes him look totally different. He looks back to the usual Kurt Angle now though lol!
The storylines are fake, the moves in the ring are real. It takes a lot of training to perform them safely and guys still get hurt all the time. You can't fake fall off a ladder through a table. Its entertainment, not sport, but its legitimately physically brutal.
I agree with you. But know that in wrestling - Kurt is a total legend, I mean for a while he was like a god. He won gold with a broken neck. I follow WWE and it's easy information to gather - Brock and he had a friendly match and it wasn't a contest at all, by all accounts Kurt toyed with him. As far as KR goes, agree there too but remember MMA was very very secondary to him...he didn't have a team or anyone really helping him. Total naive wrestler trying to make a paycheck.
In MMA obviously Randy would rip apart Kurt. An Olympic gold medal is a great accomplishment but is by no means a guarantee for MMA success. Kevin Jackson is proof of that. In wrestling it is very difficult to compare the two. Kurt was a freestyle wrestler and Randy was greco roman. Kurt would dominate Randy in freestyle but I am unaware of any of Kurt's accomplishments in greco roman and thus have no reason to think he'd stand a chance with Randy.
Kurt Angle 1996 Olympic Gold Medal Winner so yes he's very legit!
Kurt isnt exaggerating. Brock was squatting 800lbs+ for sets of 8 when he was an amateur wrestler. Read his book.
because he said it in his book its true? most elite powerlifters can only do 2 reps with 800lbs
@@PrototypeBMX he didnt lie fool. The steroids lesnar did were much better than other powerlifters
@@100tuti001 rolls eyes you think powerlifters are on the wrong fucking steroids?
@@PrototypeBMXbodybuilders and powerlifters using the steroids.
@@PrototypeBMX fuck are you talking about? Ronnie Coleman squatted 800 for 2 on a prep to the Mr.Olympia
He is truly the wrestling machine and I wish he comes back to WWE

Brock benching over 600 and squating over 1000? Goddam
he is a super beast but he is the smartest
BiggestBrockLesnarFAN Seva
They are bodybuilders, there is a whole other level of athleticism between a bulky body builder and Brock.
that shit is fucking crazy
If you believe those stats, you're a moron. Those are world class powerlifting stats from guys who have been powerlifting for years and weigh 300+ pounds.
475 bench and 695 squat are Lesnar's real stats.
dkblade27
It was evident that they are fabricated, this dudes comparing Lesnar to bodybuilders , which is ridiculous.
People forget the guy was a great Amateur Wrestler and has trained with MMA guys and they have said if Kurt went MMA he would have been one of the best in his prime.
Kurt Angle seems like such a quality guy, and the interviewer was great made it conversation rather than an interview.
How young kurt were looking 8 years ago it seems he is in his late 30s in this video and now he looks around 60.
Such a surreal interview... Kinda looks like Kurt, doesn't sound like Kurt and looks very slender... Weird.
I've been waiting for this comment, thank you man.
Kurt is a class act. Come on wwe u slackin
Good to see angle looking nice and well despite all of his past injuries.
warrior movie was awsome and i loved kurt as koba in the film kurt is the best in the world at what he does
people fail to realise how strong kurt has become since his time in the WWE hes frickin past 40 and the guys a beast in the WWE he was in great ripped shape looks all bulked up now in TNA which i think suits him best
man angle in the thumbnail looked like steve austin
I have never seen a guy break his neck as many times as you have and not get paralyzed.
You forgot a gold medal in the 96 olympic games for wrestling.
2:40 the girl is checking kurts ass out lmao
Seems like a legit nice guy
He looks so much like randy couture
Kurt angle is a Great wrestling the wwe need kurt to come back
i like that kurt says ' thank god ' a lot he was one of my fav wrestlers back in the day and i think he was awesome in ' warrior ' he seems like ey very cool kind guy but i guess he has some problems i hope he makes the right decisions in the future and i wish him weel.

he still in his prime as an athlete he tried out for the London Olympics but didn't cut it
man you know about wrestling is true angles says in an interview that his body is been more beat up than ever since he started in the wwe it means wrestling is a brutal and physical sport some things are scripted or written but the pain is real

Randy's wrestling is Olympic level too. He was an alternate on the Olympic team twice. Kurt just happens to be gold medal caliber.
@dmlisa1987 coz they are making a movie about fedor and kurt angel is the one who plays fedor in the movie
The way Brock used to just throw a 500 pounder like Big Show onto his shoulders with ease confirms his ability to squat 1000 pounds.
Look at that microphonecover has got an awesome camouflage with kurts shirt! :P

yea i can tell with the language, not so much the storylines, but ay as long as they get to the wwe i know and eventually
angle looks so different for us guys who watch wwe
looks like kurt but different voice.. I guess.. he's a clone of kurt?
That is his voice eversince steroids in 2002. But yea, he looks so different here. He was utterly unhealthy at this time.
First thing I noticed , Seceond thing I nticed .....Did his voice change???
"You got a bee on your shoulder!" hahahaha
0:36 that mustache.
Randy Cotures' Twin? No you see, Kurts actual Wrestling ability is Olympic Level

They aren't TV-14. However they will have movies rated R.
He looks a little like stone cold here
Angle just looks insane now a days
he looks and sounds so diffrent

Angle can take Brock. As long as he utilities his 3 I's. Integrity, intensity, and Intelligence.

dude he's the only person to have ever won an olympic gold medal for wrestling. He can be as cocky as he wants because he can back it up.
its a shame that mma got big just after kurt angle was in his prime... he would have done great if he joined when he was younger
Angle for president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I heard that he will be fight on the olympics in freestyle wrestling is it true ?
i think he looks good. I mean, you are right, he sounds different, but he looks good. Brock and Kurt where Wrestlers. But they were Athlets in other Sports. Great.
he changed a lot man
His voice sounds different to how I remember him.
I don't know about fighting but if Randy was in his prime in wrestling vs. Kurt - Kurt would of toyed with him - totally different levels.
What movie are they talking about?
he was great in warrior imo.
He benches over 600 pounds and swats over 1000 pounds good grief Brock Lesnar aint human with that strength
Fuck man, his eyes are terrifying.
Angle cut a lot of weight at this point. Plus having the beard and a shadow of his hair on his head instead of been close shaven all makes him look totally different. He looks back to the usual Kurt Angle now though lol!
Perc'd up kurt
Kurt was high as a kite in this interview
At his prime Angle was a monster!
angle sounds so different
why has his voice changed ? he sounds completely different ?
4:19 "soon my pretties" lol.
That's what I thought as well. I still see him sometimes in TNA and I still think he look's different here.
thank God ;)
Just go to 3:24 if you want to see him talk about Brock.
why the hell is his voice so different in this ?
Kurt Angle looks better now then he does here
omg he looks soo small.Hes voice changes a lot too...
Did you create that account only to write that X)?
Yours truly Chuck Norris

4:17 was that guy checking Kurt out
Nice ass kurt
I freaking love Angle. He's a dude
Whose voice is this?
Your DAMN right !
He actually can squat 1000 and he doesn't have chicken legs.
thats not kurt?
Jump to 3:25, there he start talking of Lesnar.
Haha, what a nice guy!
you forgot to say "with a broken freakin neck" lol

Sure i have chance !
