John Cantatore Maybe have the exact same ride, but in the coaster you go into space like you do in this one, so you'll see asteroids and planets and stuff while speeding by on the coaster, all with modern space sound effects.
This ride was AMAZING!! it's fast as hell, spins around, and the drops/fall will catch you off-guard! Besides that, it's beautifully themed inside and i enjoyed it soo much!!
Um, yeah...Speaking of Disney being one-upped by Universal. This totally looks like "Space Mountain on Steroids" with much more whimsy. Just spit-balling ideas but I could see this same kind of technology working well for a Mario Kart "Rainbow Road" ride.
It's so weird to see Universal make an amazing ride now that's not a motion simulator. I mean, Harry Potter is great and all over here in the states, but WOW does Japan get the best and most creative rides in their theme parks-Universal AND Disney.
I would think it could work anywhere. Its not overly rollercoastish and does give you time to enjoy the colors and settings. When it speeds up, you're in space, with the planets spinning past. I'd ride it if it were here in the US. I think it's one of the most colorful rides to enjoy anywhere!
This one is really awesome!!! My mom can't ride the roller coaster because she hate the centrifugal force but she love this when we visited USJ last time.
I just came home from a trip to Japan and was absolutely blown away by this ride! The video doesn't do it justice; you have to go on it, and this ride alone made the trip to Universal Studios Japan worth it. Did you have a hidden camera? They told me no photos or video. My boyfriend couldn't go on it (or Hollywood Dream) because he couldn't fit in the seat, and he has no problem fitting in US park roller coaster seats. Ride seats in Japan are smaller.
I know it's a good ride if Rob goes "Wheee-hee-hee!" That has to be one of the best rides i've ever seen, and i have only been able to see them through channels like this because i cannot travel due to my lymphedema. So, I'm glad that I have been blessed with a keen imagination, and can put myself in the seat along with you guys.... if only one or two dimensionally. Keep up the good vids, Rob!
I remember when we went to Japan my family went to go watch the parade and me and my sister just went on the ride and no one else was in line so we ran through everything over 10 times and I got super sick after. But worth it!!!!! And the ride sometimes stops wherever u are idk why once in a while I think to let people on since it moves by itself but we got stuck in the last bit the light part and it was SOOO cool.
It was really cool riding this with the VR headset, because while your watching Demon Slayer or Doraemon on the screen you could peak out and see this whole other ride, getting two for one.
I remember this ride on my recent Japan trip in December! My friends and I were like, "Hey, it's a little kid's ride, she'll be right!". Legit one of the most exhilarating and fun rides I've ever been on haha ! x
this ride is sooo colourfull soo beautiful i liked the wagons and the lights its just awesome i hope we will have one coaster like this in germany one day
this is now being used as final fantasy vr, which is pretty awesome too, i was wondering during the queue why the car has two seats front and back but only front seat are being occupied, now i know. I hope they return this ride, this looks awesome.
Yippeee space fantasy shut down and was replaced by lupin but they moved it so it is still at universal Japan definitely when I go to universal Japan I will be going on this ride because it seems like a lot of fun
Theme Park Review I have been to Tokyo Disney but at the time I had only got to live In Japan for 8 moths and I never wanted to come back people over there are nice and kind to others unlike some American that are assholes.
While the vid is awesome, it's so much more awesome in person. Spinning around was the best part! I thought Space Mountain was my all time favourite ride but this one takes the cake. When I was on it, I definitely had to shut my eyes for the last light blast at the end, it's super duper bright especially cus you been in the dark the majority of the time :O
That was neat looking. Loved Sidewinder at Knotts, so I wish I could experience this ride. At first glance the cars reminded me of Toy Story Midway Mania.
wow! I was yesterday in my Osaka Holiday in USJ! The ride has a big change since 2014! The figures and the story change a lot. really bad change... inside of the coaster look like same, but with Music my Dreams come true :)
OMG GUYS!!!, im on osaka last 2days, and i went to universal and i tried space fantasy!!, and the last part was very bright, and i tried hollywood dream and the rollercoaster was backwards, BTW im not japanese
As someone who is a die-hard Space Mountain fan, I can honestly say this looks like a REALLY fun coaster. 10/10
SuperHotLarry I know right
haha i was gonna say this puts space mountain to shame
SuperHotLarry ooTOP
It really is a different experience from Space Mountain. Have you gotten to ride this within the years of posting this?
All these safety Animations and stuff is what Disney needs!
The soundtrack is GORGEOUS.
One of the best coasters I've ridden! Amazing, super fun ride.
We went there in December of 2019 .. it was definitely one of my favorite rides 😍
the robot says: bad news. our earth is in danger. the sun's light is getting lower and lower. we might save the sun with your power.
The ending of this ride is awesome when you enter the gold stars exploding that was my favourite!
I don’t think you realise this ride is still there just they moved it
I wish Disney would update Space mountain to have SFX like this... some really nice looking scenery in that coaster...
Saaaaame, Space Mountain is kinda getting boring............ ;A;
You know, I was thinking the same thing about Space Mountain. The interior in this coaster is just amazing. :)
John Cantatore Maybe have the exact same ride, but in the coaster you go into space like you do in this one, so you'll see asteroids and planets and stuff while speeding by on the coaster, all with modern space sound effects.
simply2spoopy Actually, Paris and Hong Kong's Space Mountains have those (asteroids, planets and stuff).
aw cool, now they just need to bring that to america
This ride was AMAZING!! it's fast as hell, spins around, and the drops/fall will catch you off-guard! Besides that, it's beautifully themed inside and i enjoyed it soo much!!

it's a good idea :) mario kart the ride :) yeah it's cool !
it's amazing
I don't think Nintendo can currently afford to build an amusement park...
jegolego Nintendo IS partnered with universal parks and resorts so it IS going to happen, and I'm ULTRA excited for what's to come
@@ThiccTropius This comment aged super well I would say.
I agree. Just by watching this video, it looks truly visually stunning!
Been on it myself and dear lord it as AMAZIING!
This is probably one of my favorite rides
This ride was the best!! Plus everything was really beautiful...
It's so weird to see Universal make an amazing ride now that's not a motion simulator.

Hagrid's? Velocicoaster?
@@graffiti.777both rides that didn’t exist when they made this comment 😂
@@thehoodiegod123 yeah tbf I didn't even read that lol. I thought it was more recent

See my previous comments.
At first I was like, How is this "VERY Japanese"? Then the video started.
This is the most amazing themed coaster i've ever seen.
ride this over and over and over when i was there. best part is ofc the flashing light at the end. it looks soooo awesome for real
no loops right?
I'M SO EXCITED TO GO BACK TO UNIVERSAL STUDIO JAPAN THIS SUMMER!
The animatronics are amazing! It looks like a Disney attraction!
This one is really awesome!!! My mom can't ride the roller coaster because she hate the centrifugal force but she love this when we visited USJ last time.
THIS WAS MY FAV IT WAS SO COOL
I love this ride!!! I been on it twice.
I just love the music it is so calming and nice
It looks even better than space mountain!
Denise K 🧢
I had a great time on this visually-awesome ride!
I love the music it’s so nice and relaxing
One of the best dark rides I have ever been on, the last section through the mirrored bit was breathtaking. I ended up going on it 4 times,

Really miss this ride a lot. Was there in USJ in July this year.
Holy crap, that's awesome.
I LOVE THIS RIDE SO MUCH. I got the souvenir photo!
This ride looks awesome
Wow, this is an amazing ride!!! It proves that thrills sometimes don't have to be everything on a coaster to make it great!!
WOW, that was incredible!
I love this ride
Thanks for showing this. This ride is soooo fun!
Love this ride so much. No idea what the story is but the ride is amazing and the explosion took me by surprise at the end!
This is absolutly fucking awosome attraction This is so fun and beautiful
That is SO cute!
And it looks so fun!
My favorite ride
AS OF NOW, THIS IS THE NUMBER ONE REASON WHY I'M GOING TO JAPAN.
I thought similarly to you.
This is my favorite ride at USJ !!
This looks sick!
This was my favorite coaster when I went there, it’s so fun and pretty, I rode it 5 times. They should really bring this indoor coaster to Orlando
this looks like it could last on forever!
That was amazing. I don't know what's going on but I love it all.
Hmm Space Mountain with a *twist*
This reminds me of crush's coaster at disneyland paris
That was beyond AMAZING! Where is that passport when you need it!!!
Probably one of the best animatronics I've ever seen in my life 0:16
Amazing even waiting in line didn’t understand the words but that didn’t matter the ride was great I wish america disney rides were like this
I feel like Japan definitely did a fantastic job making the park their own. In some ways it looks even cooler than the US ones!
That looks like so much fun
Space Mountain has met its match.
This looks pretty cool!
I really like the music :D

This looks f-ing awesome! Kinda Space Mountainish

Omg we need this in the States
ODD BUT AWESOME!
i didnt cry because of the ride, i cried because it was soooooo NICE :(
I went on this ride and it was insane
Seems so fun!!!!
外人にも楽しんで頂けて何より^_^
それな♪(≧∇≦)
外人という言葉はあまり使わないほうがいいですよ
例によっては害人と同じ意味になるので
this ride is sooo colourfull soo beautiful i liked the wagons and the lights its just awesome i hope we will have one coaster like this in germany one day
I was experienced this. Its pretty cool. Fun as well.
i went to universal yesterday and i went to this ride and u know how long i waited i waited 4 hours
KAWAII Girl really? I rode it 3 times in a row because the wait was 10 minutes (but actually less by skipper by the photo)
That is really cool I'm definitely going to ride that
Japan gets all these fun rides while I'm stuck here at Universal Orlando with screen after screen after screen.
Yeah. I'm near the one in Orlando, too. At least it's a little better than the one in California......😕
same smh but its the hollywood one for me
same!! fucking screens ugh
Dustin Fraize universal needs to use more physical sets and animatronics than screens cuz its getting kinda annoying
Good thing I live near Osaka and has an annual pass I guess! I just got back from USJ and the wait time for Jurassic Park was 5 minutes
OMG, thats Amazing!
this is now being used as final fantasy vr, which is pretty awesome too, i was wondering during the queue why the car has two seats front and back but only front seat are being occupied, now i know. I hope they return this ride, this looks awesome.
It would be amazing to ride this with the lights on!
Fantastic!!!!
Yippeee space fantasy shut down and was replaced by lupin but they moved it so it is still at universal Japan definitely when I go to universal Japan I will be going on this ride because it seems like a lot of fun
This is what space mountain should be, and I’m a die hard space mountain fan.
This looks absolutely amazing!!!! :) Thank you for sharing! :)
Where in the Hell is this? The visuals are very good.
The title says in English "Universal Studios Japan."
It's not in Tokyo; it's in Osaka.
Theme Park Review I have been to Tokyo Disney but at the time I had only got to live In Japan for 8 moths and I never wanted to come back people over there are nice and kind to others unlike some American that are assholes.
Yes the ride is awesome but the waiting line is like one hour or even more than one hour
I love it !!!!!!!!
with all that cute robots talking I thought this wasn't a roller coaster, and when I saw the seat... I'm freaking out
While the vid is awesome, it's so much more awesome in person. Spinning around was the best part! I thought Space Mountain was my all time favourite ride but this one takes the cake. Rayna Black ikr
I screamed XD
very nice coaster :)
I loved this ride ^^ THE DROID SCARED ME WHEN I FIRST WHEN ON THOUGH, even though it was small but oh well

That was neat looking. Loved Sidewinder at Knotts, so I wish I could experience this ride. At first glance the cars reminded me of Toy Story Midway Mania.
Good!
I remember this Mack Spinning Coaster was originally called Charlie & The Chocolate Factory Ride.
AMAZING
I'd love to go on this :3 it looks so awesome!
This ride seems way better than space mountain. This ride would be the ideal "space mountain"
I wish we had that in Australia - I would so love to ride it
wow! I was yesterday in my Osaka Holiday in USJ! The ride has a big change since 2014!
The figures and the story change a lot. really bad change... inside of the coaster look like same, but with Music my Dreams come true :)
C'est magnifique ! Ils savent vraiment faire de belles attractions !! J'adorerais le faire ce manège ! Merci pour cette vidéo
Amazing!
Leave it to the Japanese to make a Dark Coaster fun.
OMG GUYS!!!, im on osaka last 2days, and i went to universal and i tried space fantasy!!, and the last part was very bright, and i tried hollywood dream and the rollercoaster was backwards, BTW im not japanese
btw I have never been on a roller coaster, but I watched all of your uploads TPR.
