    I totally recommend having a humidifier in your sleep space! I’m from a humid place but moved to the Bay two years ago and noticed a huge drop in quality of sleep. I got a humidifier for my bedroom and immediately felt a difference in my sleep, breathing, and skin and my partner notices a difference in his allergies if we forget to turn it on. Good luck!

    i really believe in a steamer. oily skin or dry skin, acne prone or not, a steamer is a better investment than most skincare products in my opinion. its much harmless to your skin compared to many skincare products and its not that expensive. the idea of the steamer reduces stress which is one of the main causes of acne or poor skin in general and overall rejuvenates your skin quicker than your typical beauty creams and treatments. results are slow but theyre long lasting. to anyone doubting steaming, i really reccommend to try it out for a few months. its a step that will change ur skincare routine

    My 20 year old Conair facial steamer just kicked the bucket. So excited to see a review!! I use murad professional mask packets that require steam. Then I clear any blemishes right aftet I wash the mask off, and tone. Keeps my acne clear!!

    I love your personality! You could review a rock and I would totally enjoy it just because of the way you explain everything, you know, so informative and like if we all were close friends or something, I really appreciate that! Btw your video came just in time because this week I purchased a blackhead vaccum and I saw that steamer too, so now I think I definitely need one😭💸 anyways the best for you Steph💕

    I steamed my skin a few times but old school style: hot water in a bowl and a towel over my head 😂
    This seems easier! It also helps when I have a cold

      I use mine when I’m super puffy or ate too much salt the night before, and am so happy I have one. If you look up a tutorial it helps show how to drain your lymph with it, and I love how you can’t over use it

    You bring up a good point re: the plastic. As someone who tries to minimize plastic and toxins, it makes me nervous that the plastic tank is being heated then all those toxins with the steam are getting soaked into my skin.

    You can put a couple drops of your essential oils in the water (tea tree, rose or eucalyptus) for extra benefits.

      I'm going to second both the replies also to get rid of the plastic smell a lot of the steamers recommend adding a few drops of lemon JUICE not oil to the water and letting it run 1 cycle before use. Most steamers on amazon aren't bpa free and some reviewers are saying that might add to the smell but that seems anecdotal. Anywho just wanted to leave the lemon juice tip here because I'm sure a lot of people are put off by the smell

    I bought a face steamer from amazon too I use toner before and after steaming I forget where I’ve read that but my pores have significantly gotten smaller and I have less problems with moisture on my face and I’m typically oily but I can tell the difference from when it’s oily from dehydration or it’s actually just moisturized

    • @SoothingSista
      @SoothingSista  6 років тому +2

      Omg that's amazing. I am definitely going to start using this weekly. I loved the process and my skin felt so happy after.

      Bianca Gonzalez Do you use it every day/night? I have very oily skin

    • @butteryb00ty
      @butteryb00ty 6 років тому

      Cindy I don’t use it every night most weeks but if I’m having a breakout week using it every night/day isn’t bad for your skin oily or dry. The steam opens your pores so it’s important to clean your skin before and after or use a purifying/detox mask

    • @butteryb00ty
      @butteryb00ty 6 років тому

      SoothingSista yes! Amazon is the plug! Lol it’s the best $15 I’ve spent on a skin product and all my other skincare works way better b/c of the steamer

    Hey Steph! I was wondering how you keep your lips so healthy when you travel! Whenever I travel, even if it's spring/summer where I am, my lips tend to crack and all I end up wearing on the trip is lip balm (nuxe). I notice you always wear really bold lips even when you travel and would love some tips! :)

    • @BANGxBANGx69

      Victoria Morales the water and the constant steam would be the two big differences. Shower water and filtered water are different, of course you know and in the shower your face is not constantly getting direct steam
