the red blocks on the headlights are thermal cut outs - i guess if you replaced them they might work - the red exterior pulls off some how from memory and you can see the switch inside
Thanks Jake, I will have look!
Jon,
Have you stopped creating new content? Always loved your projects and what you create.
Hey Jeff, I took a break from my projects to focus on other priorities. It was getting very tough to balance UA-cam with my business and only one of the two had a positive cashflow, the decision is then easily made to stop creating content. I might be back though as the winter tends to be slow months for me.
URO are remaking the tensioner. I do wonder if Porsche are going to rebadge it........... The front pulleys and balance belt cog pull off as one unit usually?
I think the tensioner might actually be ok, but I have asked my parts supplier when they expect the URO units to become available. With regards to the pulley's, yes the can come off in one piece, but I also wanted to see what state they were in and there are some parts I need to replace.
@@GarageBiljon Just make sure you use the crank washer when resetting it and go very very slowly when compressing, stopping lots of times and waiting. I already have a URO one in my possession which came from RockAuto in the US. I notice Design911 in the UK are selling them now for the same sort of money. Mine cost about £160 inc tax and I got it as a spare
Jon, could you do me a favor and measure the height of the spacers for the fuel rail beauty cover? I am having problems getting mine to match up with the intake manifold in terms of height.
Sure, I will measure and let you know.
Where is part 2!!!?
Coming soon!
