  • Delicious, light and filling! Recipe included below for Crab Stuffed Flounder w/ Garlic Cream Sauce.
Crab Stuffed Flounder w/ Garlic Cream Sauce
    Ingredients:
    4 Flounder files, thinly sliced
    For the crab filling:
    2 cups cooked crab meat
    ½ yellow onion
    2 small-medium sweet peppers
1/3 cup bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
    2 Tbsp garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp Seasoned pepper
    1 Tbsp chili powder
    1 tsp paprika
    1 Tbsp olive oil
    1 egg
    Salt to taste
    Optional: Cayenne pepper
Combine all ingredients except for the egg and stir well to combine.
Add the egg last and ensure it is fully incorporated into the mixture.
Season the flounder on both sides.
Stuff approx. ¼ - 1/3 cup of crab filling into center of flounder filet.
Roll flounder with the crab mixture in it.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until fish is done.
Turn on oven broiler, and broil for 4 - 5 minutes on high.
    For the Garlic Cream Sauce:
    2 Tbsp garlic, minced
    2 cups heavy whipping cream
    ½ cup chicken broth
    1/3 cup AP flour
    2 Tbsp garlic salt
Soften garlic in approx. 1 Tbsp of olive oil in hot pan.
Add whipping cream and chicken broth. Combine the two well.
Add 3 - 5 Tbsp AP flour (more or less depending on how thick you want your sauce)
Whisk constantly until sauce begins to thicken. About 10 - 15 mins.
    Set aside.
Remove flounder from oven. Cover with garlic cream sauce and ENJOY!

This was fabulous! Easy instructions, great dish. First time I made it this way and got a raving 10 from my guy. I did add some chopped onion to the white sauce. Best flounder stuffed with crab ever!!! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Chef Lorious... great dish you made there! Flounder is one of my top three fish to eat and jumbo lump is the way to go. Your videos are put together nicely. Thanks! Chris : )

Looks great! I might have added a little oil to the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking. I wonder if you could cook it with the sauce ON it?

Generosity of spirit and charming with it! Must try this on my next shop, great way to get serving of fish too. Might try adding that yummy sauce over the top of fis last few minutes to golden brown it. Or would it make it too wet? Great recipe, wonderful presentation! 👏👏😍

Chef, new sub here. I thought you always cook the flour in witj the butter n onions first. How do you add directly to the saice, should I mix with a lil liquid first or dump right in? Thanks in advance!

This looks delish! Singing 🎵🎶"Make that food Chef Lori-ous, Lori-ous"🎶 in my Martha Munizi voice.😉 On a more serious note (Hehehe); This is the first I've heard of seasoned pepper. Does it have a salty taste to it? Should we not add as much salt when we use seasoned pepper?

OMG! I can't believe how you demolished that jumbo lump crab meat. You may as well have bought claw meat the way you shredded that jumbo lump. Are you a trained chef or did you give yourself that title?
