Hello my Sistah, a fellow Jamaican here. I have also been to Kenya and I had the same experience with the fish lol. But kenya is amazing!!! I love is so much so that I am moving there. I am glad you had a good time in Kenya
Whaagwaan mi fren! So happy to hear from a fellow Jamaican! You had the same experience with the fish huh? 🤣. We Jamaicans don't play that lol. To be fair though, in Nairobi when I went to an African restaurant called Mama Oliech, they did it the Jamaican way lol. If you ever go to Nairobi, you MUST go there. The food is amazing. They do a roast grilled goat that is sooooo good! Now I am very curious where in Kenya are you moving to?
I told you Kenya would capture your heart. I was singing that Mama Africa song as i walked along Diani beach too, then had dinner by Howards! Another awesome venue. I bought covonuts right there on the veach as well. Loved my time there and in Mombasa as well. That powdery white sand beach is something else. I cant wait to run back. Enjoy!
@@TheAtlantaBelle Mzuri sana, dada. Your Swahili is impressive. By the way, I was at my local Home Depot today to pick up an online order. The woman who helped me had an accent. I asked where she was from. Jamaica! When I told her I was from Kenya, she said a lot of Jamaican entertainers are now visiting Kenya. We had a very nice discussion.
Glad you are enjoying our coast. Diani beach was actually voted best beach in Africa quite a number of times. Swahili Beach Resort will also tickle your fancy
Dawa is not for the sick or taken when feeling sickly. Dawa(medicine in English) is just medicinal, and we take it any time, and it's available in every town in kenya. Enjoy Magical Kenya 🇰🇪
@@TheAtlantaBelle Am confused, did u leave and come back (one can only hope😊). Enjoying looking thru ur lenses, as usual. And it's nice listening to u. U feel like a local already. Nope, don't leave please.🎉
After Mombasa and our coastal area your should visit Nakuru. It's the closest city to Nairobi just 150 miles west of Nairobi (3hrs drive), it's rich in lakes, national parks, nice hotels etc if you love nature you'll enjoy
I didn't know that but I see why. It's the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. The sand is like white powder and feels that way under the feet too! It's just AMAZING.
