Nandalal Krishnamoorthy better known by his stage name Nandu is an Indian film actor primarily working in Malayalam films. Although he has been in the industry for more than 30 years, he is acclaimed for his performance in Mohanlal' s Spirit, directed by Ranjith. He was also seen in many Priyadarsan films. He received SIIMA award for best supporting actor, for the movie Spirit.

Cinematographer : thenmavin kombathu
National Film Award for Best Cinematography.
When director Priyadarshan approached P.C Sreeram for this new project {thenmavin kombathu} at the time. Sreeram was too busy in another project, so Sreeram recommended Anand’s name to Priyadarshan for the 1996 film Thenmavin Kombath. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Anand won the National Film Award for Best cinematography for that film, which had Mohanlal and Shobana in the lead roles. He went on to shoot some remarkable films across many Indian languages including Minnaram, Punya Bhoomi Naa Desam and Kadhal Desam. He was director Shankar’s go-to cameraman after they collaborated for the first time for the blockbuster political drama Mudhalvan (1999). Later, Anand also shot Shankar’s Boys (2003) and Sivaji (2007). He also cranked the camera for Bollywood films Josh (2000), Nayak: The Real Hero (Hindi remake of Mudhalvan), The Legend of Bhagat Singh (2002) and Khakee (2004)

നന്ദുചേട്ടൻ പറഞ്ഞ ഈ ലൊക്കേഷൻ ഇന്നും ഇതുപോലെ തന്നെ മാറ്റമില്ലാതെ തുടരുന്നു. പൊള്ളാച്ചിയിലെ മയിലാട് തുറൈ എന്ന ഈ ലൊക്കേഷൻ നിരവധി മലയാള സിനിമകൾക്ക് ഇന്നും ദൃശ്യവിരുന്ന് നൽകുന്നു. നരൻ സിനിമ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ഷൂട്ട് ചെയ്തതും ഇവിടെയാണ്. പൊള്ളാച്ചി രാജ എന്ന ലൊക്കേഷൻ മാനേജർ ഏത് സഹായത്തിനും കൂടെ ഉണ്ടാകും. ഈ അടുത്ത കാലത്തും ഒരു സിനിമാ ചിത്രീകരണത്തിന് എനിക്കും അവിടെ പോകാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
