Sonic 2 is a Sonic Movie.
Sonic 3 is an actual Sonic Adventure one would expect from the games.

The dap up that they did was probably one of the most epic dap ups I've ever seen in a movie.
Somehow Amy is more exciting as a post credit scene to me than Shadow. I think it’s because Shadow feels like an obvious choice as a post credit scene but Amy surprised me

I just watched the first two Sonic movies for the first time within the last few days. They were amazing! I can’t wait to see the third one! I don’t know when, but I’ll see it!

I'm glad that y'all know your stuff, because now that reviews are coming out for Sonic Movie 3, here come all the people who know nothing about the games, and they all think that "Sonic and Shadow are sworn enemies" when that's not even slightly true. They were only enemies for 80% of Sonic Adventure 2, and then never again (aside from Boom and Prime because the writers sucked)
They weren't enemies in Prime. They fought because they had genuine disagreements. As for Sonic Boom, that's not canon and that's an alternate universe so it makes sense that it's not the same characters.

I'm a general fan, when Sonic 1 premiered, I run to the theatre bcs of Jim Carey. Then in Sonic 2 I run to the theatre still bcs of Eggman and Knuckles looks cool. It was very fun so I also went running to Sonic 3 premiered. Shadow change my mind. Now I AM invested watching people play Sonic X Shadow game. I hope they make Shadow in action series.

BRUH. Disney is going to hold the biggest L from Sega and Paramount in the history of Disney and Hollywood. This is the year of SEGA, Paramount, Nickelodeon and Netflix! Can’t wait for DC Comics to add to the Sonic canon next year! :D

I already know I'm going to love this movie, but it's good to know it's got the approval of two of my fave UA-camrs that are on very different levels of the Sonic Fan meter (then again, is anyone on Fadel's level when it comes to Sonic?)

They were able to get Jim Carrey back so they went hard on it. It's a plus but also went a little too hard at times and you can tell. The dance number was definitely for the average moviegoing audience who are only there because they like Jim Carrey.

my problem with GotG3, personally, was how childish it felt in spite of being PG-13, dropping an f-bomb (instead of a flark-bomb), and having animal homicide. i didn't like that especially after it set a somber tone at the beginning, and how i had this hunch that it wasn't following the comics that closely.
with Sonic 3, i already know that it's PG, and i love the music from SA2, and nowadays i even love both shadow & sonic. soooo......i might like this
