For Manas their ice beam's damage and range is based on your camera, so it will actually do more damage and shoot further if you are in first person instead of third person.

The white sand beaches on Crystal Isles with a tek helmet to help see them, a light pet to alert when there's something high level around because it works for the turkeys, & a mana. That's been my strategy👍
Currently using a snow owl to spot the turkeys, and two thylas to take them out. One has an ok saddle and the other has a primitive. Not the greatest saddles, but I've taken out two at the same time with so so damage taken. Maybe creatures with bleed effect are more effective? Gigas, carnos, thylas, Alos, deino, those types of creatures?

for me its not the bugs or glitches that makes the game bad, its the really bad performance and crashes.. i try to breed for shiny and always after collecting many many eggs the game crashes.. so annoying. i can't turn auto-save on because if you hatch like 100 eggs and there is no shiny, you want to reset.. because the game has no option to release more than one pokemon at time
i remember my first encounter with turkeys i was a new player and it was ARKs first time doing the turkey event and i just ended up crying bc how op they were obliterating all my tames
If you have access to nets you can just trap it quickly and knock it out, otherwise using dino gates works well. Ive for sure showed that off tons of times

Another option for turkey killing is mantis with swords, I use my 2k% melee mantis and 755% swords, thousands of damage

I was Ark'd yesterday morning. Was on Val hunting turkeys with my Mana, meshed under the map and lost everything. RIP 2400 melee beast. 🙏

I believe Turkeys give 1 wishbone on day one, but give increasing amounts as the event goes on.
