4:07 It’s kinda nice seeing a New York official public system saying to treat the homeless with dignity and respect, just can’t have them there because it’s unsafe at night. I like that a lot.
I think this games social narrative is that of the cruel and hypocritical nature in which our culture treats homeless- or any disenfranchised group. Maybe to recognize that those who “hate” are often the very people and reasons why their environment are filled with the lack of love- and care. Hence this protagonist being “the vulture” whether very seriously and the vulture is truly made up in his head or if its real- they still share the same violent beliefs about the city and cause it to be disenfranchised further by their own hostile behaviors, not just that but it touches on how the disenfranchised are also the vulnerable targets for this sort of violent exploitation and abuse- also very telling by “the vulture” which as an animal characteristically will find any moment of opportunity to use others moments of demise for their own gain. The art work in this game , like the sign , shines a light on how polarizing needed compassion is compared to the real nature being lived in even in the game.
@@breathoffreshair7795 I think Vulture is a different symbolism, actually. I'm pretty sure he's meant to be a personification of the hatred the protagonist feels toward the people in the city who he thinks are actually at fault for its problems. The person who signed the contract to buy a penthouse while the city suffered was apparently "Vulture", after all, and I don't think it's a coincidence that when things kicked off he remembered a sign from his parents' landlord who evicted them when he was a child. Actually, I would wager that the person he killed was probably his old landlord, who had just sold the penthouse. He was enraged by this man making *a quarter of a billion dollars* while his family suffered on the streets over a measly $1500, and killed him. He believed it wasn't really his fault, that this "vulture" who purchased the penthouse was to blame for his actions, and so created this persona. A tall, balding white man killed this landlord after (or by) purchasing property from him.

This game just... broke my heart man. Even in the end I felt bad for him. Even if he was some evil spirit. I actually would have rather he JUST be a homeless guy rather than a ghost. Someone in so much pain, all from a world that doesnt even take the time to hate them, because it doesnt even know he exists. A spec on the grand scheme of even just the city he's in. All that just makes it hurt more because im sure many of us feel that exact same way. Every day I go on the same route to the same hell to the same dead end job to slave away in a city that doesnt even know I exist outside of numbers and me paying my taxes. Its all so hollow.

Same with vulture, he's what is wrong with the city? Or perhaps he's the suffering of the homeless personified. And for protag he is, well, his inner demon of sorts. But at the same time he's been there even since city was built.
32:35 Your/your editor's attention to detail is immense, and sometimes I forget how seriously you take it. I thought my speakers were breaking lmao
Haha thanks yeah I had no idea how to achieve that effect but it kinda worked
22:38. He just stopped at your stall and Im here like yup you done for, the way you be looking at that door😂😂😂, I really expected a jumpscare right there ngl
I was laughing my ass off. Could you imagine just shitting on the toilet and this guy walks buy with his head scraping the ceiling. "THERE'S NO FUCKING POINT" lmao
Omeprazole is used to treat issues related to too much stomach acid. Ulcers, acid reflux, things like that
Yeeeeeah, esomeprazole became pretty critical for me, in recent years 😓
Just an FYI, if you have any kidney issues, you might consider switching to famotidine as omeprazole can worsen kidney function.
@@loner419 yes! thank you. that is something to look out for. it can do some serious damage to your kidneys if you already have issues
I love that the voiceover is congruent with the environment with reverb and flanger effects when talking into the big fan. It really makes it feel like you’re the actual guy ingame giving the commentary
Ex-detective and investigator here ... this game is more realistic than people think , Except for the guy being 10 foot tall and there being only 1 cannibal running around .
I think the 10 foot tall guy is actually his inner demon
@@sed782is that the lore or just a theory?
@@Coco-xq7zh It's just a theory, don't worry
@@sed782it’s just a theory, a, dare i say… a game theory?
@@Leo-rp1cwOgh, please see yourself out. The door’s right over there 😂
I've watched this game a number of times played by different gamers. And this is the first time I've seen someone guess who the killer really is.
Awesome job man.
Your videos are always great ❤
@IGP8.1 um does that mean I'm next on the tall man's kill list ???
Stuff like school starting now may be disappointing but IGP uploading automatically makes up for it
No joke IGPs compassion and enpathy towards the homeless is incredibly wholesome and is just another reason i look up to him much love from saint Louis Missouri Igp my wife and I we love you bud❤ ❤❤
This experience was scary, but also sad . . . just like life
Was already in the middle of watching your Medieval Lethal Company videos for the 3,000th time when the notification for this popped up. We’re eatin’ tonight with this one, boys.
32:07 the voice chop from the fan caught me off gaurd. awesome editing
Yay another horror video I like how you mostly do top quality horror games that fill one's self with fear.
I loved the concept of this game. The scares and the overall atmosphere was fairly well done. I kind of wish it was a little longer and that there were more gun options, but for what it was it was really well done
Got a boost in views I see, keep it up man, I love your attitude towards the community.

I dont see this talked about much, but the production value of IGP is amazing. having his voice echo in certain places or muffled from the echo due to being in a room is phenominal.
Just voted in the poll, checked the channel for a video, and was going to sleep, IGP posted a new Video, so... Yay??
10 foot tall homeless man in the underground of New York eating people that sounds believable as heck.
Truly the New York moment of all time
I just worked a 16 hour shift and I cannot thank you more for releasing a video. ALSO HOW IS THE CAT???
I love that little voice warble effect that you did at 32:34. Gave some nostalgic feels.
It always surprises me at how well done and pretty these community made steam games are man this video was a experience to be sure and a emotional one at that
Love the editing of detail at 32:08 that made your voice echo as if you were actually talking into the fan
So an unarmed security guard who's whole job is to remove homeless people: finds a severed head, doesn't call the police; finds a homeless man, leaves him there to die. Sir, you're under arrest. And you're fired.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Leaving homeless people to die is just normal behavior in a city, come on. What, are you gonna arrest half of New York?
@@jadedandbittersad but true
@TealeavesNoStoneUnturned give them your house then?
mega close to 3 mil dude and it is well deserved 🙏
Bro, you've missed seeing when Vulture stops walking in front of the restroom door, stares at you and then ducks out of existence 🤣😂I was waiting for you to see that part lol!
Lmaoo same here
That fan close-up was on purpose, i know you like your voice editing! as always, amazing vid IGP
I was bored at 1 am until I saw that igp uploaded
not through the vid yet but the moment i heard/read "have you ever heard the cry of a hungry man?" i IMMEDIATELY knew cannibalism was gonna be involved
As you were going through the apartments I was thinking to myself; "This feels like Cry of Fear to me..." Then you commented you were getting Cry of Fear vibes. Glad the feeling was mutual 😂
Ty for this amazing video and congrats to almost hitting 3 mil you're so close :)
32:33 man IGP you are insane with editing your voice and I love it!
Just woke up and I must say, watching your videos is definitely a great way of becoming wide awake quickly
Especially working overnight, almost better than coffee lol
Was playing a cozy game and wanted a video on the other screen, then boom, notified with a perfect video
Maybe watching this while working at museum at night isn't a good idea.. oh well what's the worst that could happen?
Igp wants to talk to the 9 foot tall monster man
Me:gonna just nope outta here and not look back.
LETS GOOOO 3 MILLION SUBS RIGHT HERE.. SO HAPPY FOR YOU IGP!! Come on guys hit that sub button.
Thanks Anthony! Really appreciate all the support :')
48:15 Tall guy has a white collar, combine that with the black coat and he kinda looks like a priest of some kind.
Or could just be a free asset that the devs used for his model
Your flashlight is out of torch oil, that's why you can't turn it on
IGP is like Manly with the descriptions slightly matching the titles but less insane. Lmao
Dam it was either Vulture was a figment of his imagination or he was real and really good at covering up that last picture really showed how he truly was there but under the shadows. Dam I wonder if they'll make a second continuation to this. Where you're in a mental facility and Vulture continues to haunt you.
As someone who had to sing Colors of the Wind for my Elementary School graduation I had to finish the rest of the song in my head. Thanks Indie >:[
Well no, the story is about Albert who became mentally unstable and is fighting his inner demon. You can see that he grew as a homeless child and poverty made him became a psychopath.
I'm pretty sure I saw a priest collar on the Vulture when he finally went down. Which is interesting but confusing as to what it means. Also that little bit with the photo at the end was beautifully played.
It means the clergy often preys on the innocent. In real life it's children, here it's the homeless.
@@Hawk7886 That does make since since if anyone was going to prey on people in that fashion hiding behind a priest title and garb would be the best way to find victims and get them to drop their guard.
Yup, IGP my mom's a security guard for a big company, can confirm they give you a yellow uniform, that's it
Flashlight? Nope. Taser? Nope. You want anything? Gotta get yourself. This is why you get those "super tactical mall cops" is they just buy their own stuff and over prepare
Doing security at night, no such thing as over prepared lol. Never use a small caliber weapon and buy your own flashlight 🔦
@@terryrichmond4723 Noted, gonna equip with 700 nitro express, and a S&W 500 as a side arm 👍
My favorite parts were the first graffiti, "Do not fear me" etc. and the first cardboard were neatly printed in Comic Sans. I immediately thought of my grandma printing out serial killer clues.
1300 views in 7 MINUTES!!!!!😱😱😱😱😍😍😍😍😍😍😍hurray! I freaking LOOVEEEEEE YOU MAN! I wait for your video's religiously!!!!!!!
0:43 pov: you're living in Gotham city 🌃

For anyone curious, omeprazole is an OTC/RX drug used to treat severe or frequent heartburn. Weirdly, I'm pretty sure it didn't come out until the late 70s/early 80s, so the timing of the flashback stage is a little off.
The music is fire, great choice!
"How do you grow that big without food!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I check your channel everyday for new videos. You’re my favorite UA-camr. I don’t even know you but I love you.
IGP I’ve been watching you for years and I enjoy every single video you post🙏
My second favorite UA-camr has returned. I'm sorry but I love CoryxKenshin. Though, I enjoy every single one of your videos as they often cheer me up after a bad day
01:06 wtf man:(
Keep it up brother. Your videos keep me busy while I'm recovering in the hospital
When I was a security guard overnight at this golf resort, I had no flashlight issued to me, and had no walkie talkie to communicate to my coworkers about anything UNLESS i was in truck and used the radio in it. I had to patrol an unlit golf resort with no light except my phone, headlights from the truck and at least 3/4 of the time I was on foot patrolling 😢
Ngl if I'd ever work similar job, even with flashlight I'd keep it off and just sort of skulk around in the dark. BE the reason people think the place is haunted lol
I cannot express how much I love this, this is the best horror game channel EVER!!!!!
Tall Homeless Man: Hello Smith, I wanna play a game. My tummy has the grumbles, I need delicious long pig jerky.
My man would rather jump in front of a train than harass the unhoused. Downright respectable.
Watched Fooster play this. I can just hear your screams now. Lol
happy 3m igp. been watching you for 8 or 9 years now. keep it up
17:52 "as long as I don't look its not there.....inner demon" Why did these two fit so perfectly together 😭✨
I love the idea of a video game having a message pop up with no explanation or relation to the game, like the "torch doesn't need oil at this time" message.
I can just imagine playing a horror game, and in the middle of a super tense moment a message pops up saying "Your cat Mittens needs to be fed".
“Oh no man your good.”
*empathy kicks in*
I love watching the Thumbnails switch and every single one is a Masterpiece
2:43 thousand-yard stare, good lord
Awesome video and hilarious commentary. Just subscribed immediately.
"i hate you i hate everything about you" that was heartfelt x))
22:40 what a missed opportunity for a jumpscare-, for example, if he crouched for 3 seconds and just rushed in through the door i (and i believe IGP) would've screamed lol
Jumpscares are cheap, gradual horror and tension is more entertaining
3:03 it's a Matrix reference, Thomas Anderson's passport expires 9/11/01
Ohhhhh ok.. Honestly, I thought it might be a Gen Z aged developer who created the game and just wasn't as sensitive to that date as Millennials, Gen X, etc.. Still pretty weird to be honest. Most people will not immediately think of Matrix when they think of that date.
@@notme1255 As an older millennial, I don't really see your reasoning. People who actually experienced those events in person, or lost somebody over the course of them, fair enough they'd be sensitive. Anyone else.. it's been 23 years. It's a major bit of edgelording to use that date, but it shouldn't really affect the vast majority of people 23 years later.
@@ledumpsterfire6474 I'm not saying everyone has to break down in tears over that date after 23 years. I'm just saying the movie reference is not the first thing people think of. Don't take an opinion personally man. I've got half a dozen Gen Z family members from different areas and schools and they all just don't have that immediate recognition of the date simply because many weren't even alive at that date yet.
MY MATRIX REFERENCES NOW HAVE MEANING, I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAT
@@notme1255 I watched it live with my brother. It was a day that lives in infamy, but it's been a literal lifetime. Tragedy + Time = Comedy. You might consider it edgelord, but I'm not going to get offended by jokes.
