Couldn’t find its way back home
Got stuck behind an obstacle
Turned out that was the least of its troubles
Once information was hard to find
Grab a fact and fill the gap with your mind
Now we zero in on spoonfed sites
It’s all laid out so there’s no need to analyze
Wait a minute
Is this really information
Don’t get bamboozled
Bemused bewildered or befuddled
Stay open
New information is coming in
We narrowcast till kingdom come
It’s good to know our sources match our assumptions
But are we missing anything
To start with the conclusion then seek out confirmation?
Life is filled with constant surprise
But beware of dead ends posing as a light
It’s a dirty complex world
Sometimes Occam’s razor cuts you to the chase
Wait a minute
Is this really information
Don’t get bamboozled
Bemused bewildered or befuddled
Stay open
New information is coming in
Don’t be too sure you know it all
New facts emerge to shift your paradigm
I sift it in my judgement seat
You might be correct to say it’s incomplete
Checking references all day
Who’s saying what and what do they say
Look for proof and trace it back
Clean your glasses before you go on the attack
I’m not trying to cause some kind of situation
I’m just talkin' 'bout in-in-information
