So, we were spending a lot of time outside in the countryside and i was amazed at the quick turn nature took for the better, as soon as humans were removed out of the equation. The increased symphony of birdsong, bumble bees the size of my fist turning up in the garden, animals coming out of hiding and popping up here, there and everywhere. Nature and its inhabitants were thriving to the very fullest. As they should. It was beautiful, but also sad at the same time. knowing that when we get back to 'normal, ' the destruction continues.
I spent most of those lockdown days out in the woods doing wildlife photography so this video and the circumstances that inspired this song really hits close . Although I don't agree that humans are not as beautiful as the nature we come from. In fact living amongst the animals and away from the city reminded me of how divorced we have become from the ways of nature and the lessons they can teach us. That there is a part of nature in all of us that can never be extinguished and we all have the potential to be beautiful even if we choose to be ugly some times.

Wow amazing clicked on SOM email and then the link to this song I'll sheepishly admit to never hearing you guys and was pleasantly surprised by the song (it was like a flowing stream on a quiet morning) and your comments , there's a reservoir I've been going to for 30 years and have seen redtail foxes, bobcats, dear with racks hunters would love, snakes,Sea birds at a reservoir couldn't believe it, Eagles and birds of many colors. For context, had health issues and other hard shit. Music is what kept me wanting to live, and their music feels ‘understanding’. Even bought some stuff from Justin himself, through his FB I’m not mistaking. Felt i could help him well after all the music did for me.
