I think this series was really easy to pick up and read. The fact that the stories didn't require years of reading to enjoy was a plus and made me enjoy the hell out of this series. Looking forward to reading the issues I missed.
I really like this entire run. Bats and Supes have a great bromance. Someone should convince DC to print an omnibus for New 52’s Batman/Superman run as well as Earth 2!!

I couldn't have asked for a better video, I came here for 3 things.
#1 do you consider the content to be good and worthwhile? (Have you read it and know anything about it? Many content creators made an overview and have no clue what the stories are about, that makes their video pretty useless).
#2 what does it contain (and does it double dip and with what?)
#3 Show me the content and what does it looks like.

Comics should be fun and enjoyable. I wish someone would tell the big two writers that.
Best part of this are the talented writers and artists giving us a summer blockbuster action adventure movie with every story. Top notch artists are the icing on the cake! I got this one the other day and can't wait to read these stories again.
I loved superman/batman series by jeph loab Mike Johnson Joe Casey and all of those writers did a excellent job on both of those characters did a excellent job.

Great era for DC.
Glad we finally have the complete series collected (the original TPB's skipped issues and the newer TPB's were never finished!). The quality varies but overall this is a really fun series to read
Still angers me that they cancelled the final trade. That was the last one I needed to complete my collection

Thanks for the overview! I’ll be getting this one I think. If you ever need video ideas, you should do some more top 10s. Like top 10 favorite dc/marvel omnis, top batman stories etc. im a dc guy and your top 10 dc omnis for new readers was a great help for me when picking out omnis.

Love the look/feel of this, I had 1 tpb and really enjoyed it(eventually my cousin was drawn to it and freed it from my shelf😄 he was 8 or so at the time so was not to be denied). Has that blockbluster movie vibe like the Geoff Johns Aquaman omni, vol 1+2 of this omni are on my wishlist. Great overview as always Omar🤘🏻🤟🏼

This is the one omnibus I’m so glad that did get released. I would’ve been sad if it had been cancelled but I’m overjoyed that it’s already on the way. Thank you for the video as always!!
I loved pre 52 comics. Those are the ones I read the most as a kid. So I may want to grab these two omnibuses. I read a lot of batman stuff not much of the others heroes.

Art is of course individual, but watching this it seems to me that the art is better in this volume than the first volume, it looks really good of what I can see from this video. I am not saying the art in volume one was not good, but to my liking the art seems a lot better here, any thoughts? Great video.

I just ordered this after watching your 2 video overviews, wasn't able to get the 1st book but that doesn't bother me, if I see the first book in the future I'll pick it up.
Silver Banshee is Obscure? LOL. Picked this up as I enjoyed the stories in pretty much the same way you did, Just pure simple fun.
also don't need full covers but I would like issues on the reverse and the occasional page number for a marker. that's gotta be a good middle ground to nothing.
Hey Omar, is that the Thor by Jason Aaron omnibus vol 1 there in the background? Will we get an overview soon? Also, will you do an oververview of the new F4 by Hickman omnis?
When I first read this series in french I really loved it. Unfortunately we don’t have DC Omnibuses in french 😭 so I think I’ll be getting this one and the first volume if I can find it at my LCS. Hopefully, my retailer does have A LOT of DC and Marvel Omnibuses. Thanks for the overview Omar, keep up the good work 🤘

I read the whole of Vol. 1 but thought most of the stories were fairly weak so I'll pass on this one. However Paul Dini's Batman Omnibus was VERY good, a real pearl, really happy that I read that one. Next are the Snyder/Capullo Omnibus 1 - 2 which I want to read because Snyder is such a good writer, although personally I'm no fan of Capullo's art. I would love to read Supes stories with the depth that Dini's Batman stories have, something like in the Smallville TV show (the earlier seasons) would be great.
Is this edition better than volume 1? I loved the first part of volume 1 (the stuff written by Loeb), but it fell apart once he left the book.

This X-Men by Hickman omni coming out next week contains material after Hox/Pox? But wasn't it written by others?

Were the animated movies good adaptations of these books, Superman/Batman public enemies and superman/batman apocalypse? Did they cover the issues from beginning to end of this run?
Superman/Batman Public Enemies covered the first 6 issues (with the Kryptonite meteor) and Superman/Batman Apocalypse covered the "Supergirl" arc - both are pretty good
They cover the first 12 issues. 1-6 is public enemies and 7-12 is apocalypse. The movies are better than the comics.

How do the spines line up?
I assume Omar got rid of his vol 1, otherwise he would have shown it as he usually does. You can see the spines lined up in the Organic Priced Books overview of vol 2. They line up very well.
Not complaining about this omnibus. I will probably get it. But they are so many better runs that DC could give the omnibus treatment to.

Damnnnn! No McGuiness and no Turner. Ughhh!!! I am debating. And Ian Churchill doesn't even draw like he did back in his iMage comic days. He had such a great style back then. Ughhhh =(
