He's choir director and a Pastor at my church. Very humble, very honest and transparent, and gets better every time he preaches a sermon. Goes around greeting everyone before service and we don't treat him like we're starstruck fans.

I met him in Tennessee, I went up to him and sang one of his songs to him and he smiled, gave me a hug. He was a very nice man a true gentleman. Je came to an after party with us, he fit right in, talking, laughing, dancing! Real cool dude.

I met him after he performed at the fair in my hometown when I was about 17. We snuck by his trailer and was throwing pebbles at his window to get his attention and instead of him being upset he was very graceful and talked to us for about 15 minutes about his up and coming projects. He was very nice. I was really a fan after that.

The music industry is a beast. A lot of people struggle for years to make it to the top but they spiral into obscurity due to the lack of trustworthy guidance and poor decision making. Fortunately, Montell was able to salvage his relationship and proceed with his life on a different path.
I'd say, "He gained more happiness and achieved success by chosing God and his family over the Music Industry"...👏👍👍...✌💨💨🏃
He was forced out of the industry when his music stop selling however he picked up the pieces and kept it moving.
His soul and life was saved from them demons in that industry

I met him in 1996 I was 15. I used to hang out at this spot called the Mix Shop after school many celebs would stop by. He pulled up in a limo with his wife. Of course I wanted a picture and his wife/manager was not having it I knew then that she was more than what they were saying.
