I have always tried to credit the people who showed me better ways to be a person, and though I never knew him well, I got a lot from the time I spent with him. There are some people whose whole way of being is an education in itself, and he was certainly one of them. And I should say this - it always seems like the giants are all gone, but they still walk among us. Instead of the conservative motto, "A fair day's wage for a fair day's work," we must inscribe on our banner the revolutionary watchword, "Abolition of the wage system." It is the historic mission of the working class to do away with capitalism. The army of production must be organized, not only for everyday struggle with capitalists, but also to carry on production when capitalism shall have been overthrown.
