In my opinion, there should be red bars signaling the retired names (or, in some cases, the names that should've been retired if another name was removed by mistake) in both the real-world animations and the WMHBs. In this animation, for example, Sonamu's bar should've had a red asterisk next to it (the name technically shouldn't have been removed, even though it was), and so should Usagi's bar (the name should've been removed for severe losses in China). The red bars in this animation should've also been applied to Utor, Fitow, and Haiyan.
In February 2014, the name Sonamu was removed at the request from Malaysia due to causing unprecedented panic by the similar pronunciation to tsunami. This is why Sonamu isn't on the list.

Friday, May 1, 2020 Dear Force Thirteen, I love this very cool animation, and I would like to make a few suggestions concerning the new icons. Since I am visually impaired, I occasionally have a hard time assessing the color changes themselves (especially if the color isn't relevant to the category). Firstly, I personally think the (sub)tropical depression icons need to be a bit more shaded in the middle (without the color, it just looks like a blue or purple swirl - the older icons had a colored-in circle in the middle, which I liked). The second suggestion I have is to make the tropical storm-almost hurricane/typhoon/cyclone icons a bit more yellow or chartreuse-ish. Lastly, I think you should add more swirls around the weaker icons (like in other animations that were produced last year), that equate to the main color itself. (specifically, the subtropical storm icons) Otherwise, the animations and icons are pretty awesome! Thanks for understanding, Mr. Green and Purple P.S. - I think that your analysis of seasons makes them more complete. P.P.S. - I also have color ideas for the Storm List bars (especially for visually impaired viewers): Red - Retired Orange - Longest-Lasting Storm(s) Yellow - Costliest Storm(s) Green - Wettest Storm(s) Blue - Basin-Crossers Purple - Strongest Storm(s) Pink - Deadlest Storm(s) Gray - Costliest Storm(s) Also, can you bring back the Fatalities section?
Wait. I see an error here. In the animation, it displays Wutip as a Category 3, but in the Storm List at the end, it says the typhoon's peak was 110mph/965mb. So technically, the storm should've been assessed as a 115mph/965mb typhoon. Just wanted to point it out. :)
In 2013, during the time that Haiyan was still off shores. My dad & I was there in Tacloban[the city that got hit] I love storms and rain etc, I told my dad maybe we should travel back and he asked me why. I told him this storm is heading towards the Phillippines and he initially thought i was joking. I told him that If there is anything i wont mess around is a storm that big coming fast at us, and luckily he asked a fellow Phillippines citizen and he told him if he is not aware how Typhoons work, then we should leave for safety. We flew back 2 days before Haiyan hit and seeing the devastation it has caused, i'm very glad that I left

Dear Force Thirteen,
I love this very cool animation, and I would like to make a few suggestions concerning the new icons.
Thanks for understanding,
Mr. Green and Purple
P.S. - I think that your analysis of seasons makes them more complete.
P.P.S. - I also have color ideas for the Storm List bars (especially for visually impaired viewers):
Red - Retired
Orange - Longest-Lasting Storm(s)
Yellow - Costliest Storm(s)
Green - Wettest Storm(s)
Blue - Basin-Crossers
Purple - Strongest Storm(s)
Pink - Deadlest Storm(s)
Gray - Costliest Storm(s)
Also, can you bring back the Fatalities section?
I also have a fourth suggestion: you should make the lightning effect more apparent when a storm gets into the higher numbers of Category 4 status.
I also like the slower icon spin.

Wait. I see an error here. In the animation, it displays Wutip as a Category 3, but in the Storm List at the end, it says the typhoon's peak was 110mph/965mb. So technically, the storm should've been assessed as a 115mph/965mb typhoon. Just wanted to point it out. :)
Wutip’s bar is the 4th bar on the third set of 8 bars, and is on the 20th bar in the Storm List.
3:30 2013 Jebi and 3:50 2013 Mangkhut.

8:04 Haiyan matched the music when it intensified.
In 2013, during the time that Haiyan was still off shores. My dad & I was there in Tacloban[the city that got hit]
I love storms and rain etc, I told my dad maybe we should travel back and he asked me why.
It's time for Haiyan to shine!

Jeez, how much comments have you put on this video?
@@kylerrabaya5197 uhhh...quite a few (including replies)
Here's a poem I made back in April 2020, before this versionn was released
Man-yi was a typhoon according to the JMA
Auring was Sonamu
Krosa came before Haiyan
E has only 2 names (Etau and Ewiniar)
Vongfong waited a year
Eastern Pacific had 20 named storms
Really, Usagi should've been retired
Sonamu was replaced with Jongdari
Isang was only not used in 1968
Odette had replaced Ondoy
Nari killed 93
Toraji sounds more like a Japanese name
Wipha battered eastern Japan
Oh great, I have made an acrostic poem!
