Ah, just what I was waiting for!
How good does it look?!
I always enjoyed colossus and this just steps it up, better trains, lapbars, amazing first drop
Can’t wait to ride this!
cant wait to get on this in october and visit Flamingo Land for the first time!
It's like collosus (thorpe park) and icon had a baby
This looks UK top 10 worthy, its gonna be intense and comfortable with those lapbars!
yeah i thought so too!
it looks like it's gonna ride great, can't wait to see it testing & to finally ride it.
@@iitzfizz The park is a long distance from me (my home park is Paultons Park) but this would make the journey worth it!
@@CoasterXtra Kumali is also really worth it!
@@CoasterXtra hero is also worth it 🤡
I think the track is going to in a poor state and won't ride well.
I’m going here at the end of the month!
It doesn’t look like it’ll be open then, but we’ll probably visit when it does. Thanks for the awesome vid!
I’m going in late June. It may not open but it’ll be great to come back to flamingo land. First time in 8 years
Can’t wait for this ride it looks insane
great to see its finnaly comming along
Thankyou For The Update! It’s Very Exciting To See This Coaster Being Near To Completed, Can’t Wait For The Summer When It’s Hopefully Running Around The Track 🎢😎
Great update really excited to see this have its first test run
Wow this coaster has had unfortunate luck over the years I'm so glad It's finally going operational at its new home. Can't wait to ride it!
It’s great to see it finally close to opening!
Hi shawn and Charlotte hope you are both well. This looks like it's going to be a great ride and addition to the park. Looking forward to seeing you both riding it . Thanks for sharing with us love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Thank you for watching Crazy!
I can’t wait to see the flamingo land vlog !
Great update 👍🏻imma be going in August praying it’s gonna be finally open 😂
Hopefully by then!
Be prepared to pay an extra £10 for one go on this ride alone! They aren't letting anybody on who pays the usual £50 to get in the park.
@@benroberts9627 that’s ashame, a bit like enso at Blackpool then!
It’s called sik and it opens July
@@Sem4rc yeah I know, I commented that a month ago you know🤝🏻
Thanks for the update Shaun!
Thanks for watching!
Can't wait to go on the coaster when it opens
Great update, I think that this coaster will be a brilliant ride for the park. It’s felt like ages for it to first open but at least it doesn’t seem long until this coaster opens!
Huge round of applause for Flamingo land for their new investment !!! Inversions with lapbars !! What's not to love ! Gotta be a UK first ?? Hopefully Merlin will take note as they have an addiction to going upside down rather than airtime !! 😎...
Keep up the awesome work Charlotte and Shaun .never a dull day goes by while your both on UA-cam 😃😃
Not a UK first thunderlooper had lap bars and icon has lap bars
@@lucianyari515 I would say icon has a mix between over the shoulder restraints and lapbars
@@harleystubbs6199 no icon has lap bars they just come down from above your head no part of the restraint goes over your shoulder
@@harleystubbs6199 icon is just lap bars
Can’t wait to ride this!
Hi Shawn, great video! The coaster was testing today at flamingo land! Apparently, the other day, one of the test dummies fell out of the restraints!
Loads of them did, the wrong dummies were used. You only get a lap bar - and the dummies had no laps!
Colossus is my favourite ride and I imagine this is better so I'm very much looking forward to it
Looks much better than colossus
Havnt been to flamingo land for years, next time is to ride this bad boy.
It's wild to see a coaster get repainted before even opening
Ahh, they finally painted it! It looks amazing!
It does look awesome!
can't wait to get on it!
We where there last week and it was amazing compared to last year ,I've been keeping a log of all photos right back from the very beginning of the construction of this ride so at last it'll be lovely to see it in action when we go back for a weekend in August
That’s great to hear!
I'm excited to be going back to flamingo land for the first time in 15 years with my wife. Last time I was there was during a school trip when I was 11.
Have a great time!
We are going hear the end of July hope this is open then brilliant update as always 👍🏻
Awesome update Shawn looks well impressive. Certainly got Icon vibes just looking at it. Ten inversions wow!
It does indeed!
Cannot wait to see the POV for this TPW. 👍
We were staying here the day you were filming this, we saw you from a distance !!!
Hope you had a great day!
Lovely colors on it, I can't wait
My favourite channel ❤️
Hey there Shawn flamingo land pretty cool I love you Shawn and Charlotte and I can’t wait to see full vlog for tomorrow xxxx
Thanks Alfie! Full park vlog on the way today!
So excited to see something new added to my local park I only live 30 minutes away from Flamingo Land so I’ll be definitely going when it opens
We can’t wait!
Best theme park channel ❤️
Thank you!
Looks like icon with the paint work
It does look very similar!
So this is just Colossus for the north of England lol. Now just waiting on a Stealth for the north, a 300ft+, 100mph+ Stealth.
I'm finally up to date with your videos 😁🙂
I love the brake run under cover, always helpful on a wet day 😂 guessing the train was in the maintenance area so I find it strange it’s not undercover unless it was out the back of the maintenance shed,
I’m holding out going to get the creds I need until this is open, happy with the Lap bars as the wife can’t fit on colossus anymore
Yay. This is great to see. Be interesting to see how it rides compared to Colossus.
Looks great! Hope they do a bit more themeing though. I go to flamingo land every year for a week. Going in October this year so should be open by then. Can't wait!🤩
Hopefully so!
Hi, great vid, this looks awesome, glad it’s nearly finished 👌👌👍👍they might call it ‘Ten’ or ‘X’ 🧐🧐
This is awesome that the new 10 inversion roller coaster is opening this year after 2 years of delaying the ride! This will be like Colossus at Thorpe Park despite the fact that this coaster is manufactured the same manufacturer as Colossus was manufactured. I can't wait for this roller coaster to open this year!
It’s great to see!
just been looks amazing
Thanks for the update. I can’t wait. But I might give hero a miss next time. Shoulders are still hurting of last time.
I was at TP today and rode colossus 3 or 4 times and it was so rough into the cobra roll so I’m excited to see how this compares
Great construction update Shawn and Charlotte 👍🏻
Great update, can't wait till it's finally finished and get to try it. Thanks for the update.
Be prepared to pay an extra £10 per person for one ride on this, on top of the £50 you already pay to enter the park. If you just buy the regular park ticket then this ride is not included.
First ever visit in June, unlikely to get chance to ride the new coaster but looking forward to the full park video tomorrow to see what hopefully will be operating
Full vlog on the way!
I'm going to flamingo land at the beginning of June, I think I'll JUST miss the opening of this coaster, it looks absolutley fantastic!!!!!!
Think you'll be at least a month early.
Have a great time!
SikSilk is a local clothing brand in Scarborough and i believe they now supply the staff uniforms so will probably be names after that
It does seem likely!
Looks very fun!
All Belgian amusement parks are open again! On the second day of this early season my gf and I decided to visit Bobbejaanland. The park has repainted and themed the Ferris wheel during winter maintenance. In addition, there has also been a change in the catering offer. We entered the park together with a lot of other amusement park fans and we will tell you all about our journey:
Bobbejaanland opens its doors at 10 am, so it will not surprise you that we were there on time. There were clearly not many people and that makes sense because it is cold. Something that we amusement park fans don't care about because we then proceed to the first attraction as quickly as possible.
In Bobbejaanland it is interesting to start on the left in the park. However, many visitors immediately run to Fury or Typhoon, forgetting the attractions on the left. This way we can test the Bob Express without waiting. This excellent Powered Coaster makes some cool loops above the water. An excellent start to our day.
We did not get to do the indoor log flume today.. In the past I have come out soaking wet several times and today, given the cold, I don't feel like it. The others also prefer a ride on Okidoki instead of Indiana River. This cool roller coaster again has no queue, so you can immediately take a seat. The ride was already okidoki and gave us a lot of fun.
Just next to Kinderland we find a suspeded roller coaster. Where the Dreamcatcher queue used to be formed by a few teepees, today it is a rocky outcrop with a few fountains. Fortunately, we don't have to wait long at these bare rocks and we are on the roller coaster a round later. The ride consists of a lot of helixes that are taken wide because the gondolas can swing. Dreamcatcher has been approved again this year.
We have already done 3 roller coasters and it doesn't stop there because we slide into the queue for roller coaster 4. We find it in Cowboy Town where we find Speedy Bob. The wild mouse roller coaster can be found behind a lot of houses that are clearly inspired by the Wild West. It's a shame that the roller coaster is a bit rusty, but we don't experience that during the ride. The ride is fine and again gives us a lot of fun.
Just next to Speedy Bob we find El Rio. This water attraction is a rapid river that clearly not many people are in the mood for today. The queue is empty and the cold weather has everything to do with it. But since Bob feels like a ride on this wild cruise, we all decide to take a seat in a round boat. Unfortunately, this attraction only counts 1 drop. That one drop is hidden under a whirlpool and can make you very wet on some days. Fortunately, nobody really gets wet today and we can continue in the park with dry clothes.
In the meantime we have left Cowboy Town and we are heading for the Ferris wheel. This gigantic attraction received a major overhaul this winter and even got a new theme. For example, the entrance and exit were changed so that the heart is now located at the front of the wheel. The entrance itself has got some rocks with a very short queue. Finally, they also repainted the wheel so that the attraction can continue for many years. At the top we can already enjoy the view of the green surroundings in and around the park.
We're going on an adventure in Adventure Valley! This zone is partly indoor where we have found a Domino's Pizza location since this year. Something we obviously wanted to try out immediately. I can already say that the pizzas were very tasty and are an improvement on the pizzas you could eat in Cowboy Town in the past. There you will now find a hamburger restaurant. Tim & Bono went there for dinner in the afternoon and thought it was a big improvement there too.
Of course we haven't done all roller coasters today and we decide to take a ride on the indoor roller coaster Revolution. This roller coaster, which you can now consider a real classic, has just about the longest roller coaster train in the world and is known for its dark rides along all kinds of colorful lights. Unfortunately, the park decided a few years ago to partly equip VR glasses, the result of which is longer waiting times. We already took a nostalgic ride on this cool classic.
In Adventure Valley we find another roller coaster and that is Naga Bay. Here too we did not have to wait and we were able to take a seat in the cart. During the ride you start spinning thanks to the numerous curves. Unfortunately, the roller coaster does have a lot of braking sections. They always end the momentum that has been built up, so that the tension quickly disappears.
In the meantime we have arrived in the youngest themed area of the park. I am of course talking about Land of Legends. This area revolves around the 4 natural elements. Each element has its own attraction. Fire got the roller coaster Fury, wind got the roller coaster Typhoon, earth got the spectacular Sledgehammer and water got a water playground. The latter I think is quite bland compared to the other 3 valves, although I can enjoy the beautiful finish of the water area.
In the middle of this area we find the Guardian of Elements. This fictional person was given a large statue. You will always find the entrance to the 4 attractions on this same square.
The main attraction of the area is, of course, Fury. This Triple Launch Coaster with its beautiful orange color can be seen emerging from far above the trees. For a while this was even the fastest roller coaster in the Benelux until Kondaa opened in Walibi Belgium. The waiting time is minimal and we can therefore quickly take a seat. Normally you also get the chance to do the ride backwards, but this is broken today. It will be a concern to us because we can enjoy one of the best roller coasters in the Benelux.
Some of our group also decided to take a ride on the Sledgehammer. I stayed on the ground and decided to take some pictures while the rest enjoyed the ride.
Finally, we decided to take a ride on Typhoon. This roller coaster stands out because of its 90-degree drop, which is immediately followed by a gigantic loop. Furthermore, this roller coaster has 3 other inversions.
Our first round in the park has been completed and we decided to make another round through the park. So we took a ride on Okidoki and I took some more pictures. Around 4 pm we decided to go back home. We enjoyed our very first visit to Bobbejaanland in 2022 and we will definitely return this year. Even if it's just for another ride on Fury and the other fun attractions in this park.
Thanks for sharing!
great video shawn
It finally feels like Flamingoland have replaced the Corkscrew. Now we just need a good dark ride to replace Thunder Mountain
That would be great to see!
Good bye thunder mountain 🤣
This coaster looks alot of fun will be interesting to see the theming of it.A good park all round.Great share bud 🙂👍
It would have been nice if you were given sight of the colour rendered drawings to reveal the plan of the finished ride area, after all, you generate so much publicity for these theme parks, publicity that would cost a fortune through any other medium and here you are doing a reveal exclusively for the theme park community completely free !!
Thank you so much!
Looks amazing
Your gonna get loads of airtime on that first drop with lapbars looks promising
Hope it's done for july
I SEEN YOU IN LIGHTWATER VALLY TODAY!! On the nets
Vlog on the way tomorrow!
Can't wait to ride this! That final barrel roll looks very close to the pathway underneath it. Surely you'd be able to high five someone if you jumped up? It looks that way on this video anyway! 😲
It does look very close!

Flamingoland being the closest proper park to me (light water is closer but ya know). This has me really excited.
I remember when lightwater valley was actually good
@@harleystubbs6199 yeah. It’s sad honestly. I’ve been since but the last time it was properly enjoyable was 2016.
Did you go on any of the other rides in the park
There’s a full vlog on the way today!
Great video
It looks a lot like colossus at Thorpe Park 😂
It’s very similar however with different profiling
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Ahh, do you know when the opening day will be?
I prefer the old colour sceme… nevermind. It looks like a good fun ride though!
It looks really smart a great addition to flamingoland but thought it would of been open buy now .
It does indeed!
Just imagine that airtime hill with lapbars and legroom lol.
I’m going in June
Looks Awesome Shawn! any idea of the top speed on this beauty?
I’m expecting around 45mph
I wonder if the heart line rolls will be as photographed as colossus
Hey, hope you all having amazing day
I can’t help but think, give it a year and you’re going to see the bright yellow and red coming through that new paintwork which will stick out like a sore thumb.
Hopefully it won’t be too noticeable
Do we have a date for when the coaster will open yet?
All we know is summer!
I find that coaster funny
Since this was filmed in the easter holidays, how busy was the park?
Full vlog on the way today!
I go here every weekend
There is a clothing company called Sik silk that's Scarborough based so wonder if it's something to do with them 🤔
It seems likely that it will do!
Are you going to Thorpe park tomorrow
Have a great day!
Any news on a date yet will it be this year?
2nd July opening!
When do you think we'll get an official name for this beauty? It looks so much more attractive than Colossus. It's been a long wait but it'll definitely be worth it for the park.
If you on flamingo lands twitter at a tweet from about a week ago there may be a hint as to a name or sponsor there
@@BobBob-cc4bh cheers bob
It wouldn’t surprise me if we find out officially soon!
Hey shawn, i was wondering
When are you going to visit the netherlands again now that all corona virus measurements are gone?
Stay tuned for future trip announcements!
Can you make a Charlotte and Water Ride compilation please I need it
Wait does this ride only have a lapbar?
It does!
It is probably a good thing you didn't get a video of us pulling the train out as you would have had to heavily censor a lot of......... enthusiastic..... language.
You mentioned a zero car on the train, I assume you mean the balance axle at the front? If so, it is indeed there it just doesn't have a cover on it, the entire train is actually naked at the moment.
Thanks for watching! Looking forward to seeing the finished area around the ride!
I was there too I tried to say hello at voodoo and next to the sweet shop as you did your end of day video 😔
Hope you had a great day!
Hey Shawn, quick question: Will you be going back to Disneyland to experience returning attractions like The Main Street Electrical Parade?
I’d love to however I have no plans on returning this year as I want to get to some other new parks!
It’s giving me icon theme vibes🤔
Wasn't a fan of the colour when they started painting it, but looks really good
Looks nice
But I bet the entrance fee goes up
With that lap bar I’m wondering if this could steal that number one spot for you! I hope for their sake they have been watching your vlogs and are aiming for a smooth but intense coaster 😂
It does look awesome!
The coaster looks great but I just don't think there's enough at this park to see if you're making a one day journey if makes sense? I'm from northeast Newcastle area which albiet isn't super far away but unless you're staying in the area I don't think there's enough to justify the journey. Having said that the coaster looks sick! And I will be riding this one day for sure!
We visited in 2020 - no Inversion and Kumali also closed but we still had a great day. The zoo at Flamingo Land is quite extensive - if you're up for seeing the animals, there's definitely enough for a day visit IMO, especially when this coaster finally opens
@@sammorris6104 ah yeah we went back in August of last year and it just was dead.. nothing was open which I've been before when everything was open but just didn't feel it filled out the day. Still a good park nevertheless.
4 decent coasters, a zoo, a fair few flat rides, quite a bit of entertainment. There’s definitely enough for a day to warrant a trip from afar. I think the issue is there isn’t really a stand out attraction that sets it apart from other parks etc. that’s the only thing that would stop me going if I lived 5+ hours away
@@joshwhite5859 guess it's just personal preference, last time I was there it literally made a graveyard look more alive.. again covid had alot to do with that but even the time before just didn't feel there was alot going on. Probably just me tbh. The coasters are great must be said!
Inversion, Kumali, Velocity, and Mumbo Jumbo would definitely be worth making the 2 hour journey from Newcastle.
Getting down with the kids. Welcome to middle-aged.
am i going to drive 3 1/2 hours for this... very likely
Good🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Colossus was ruined by the restraints and the modificaions to them over the years... LAP BARS FTW!!!
