Can you please let me know what you think if you’ve ever reviewed Threshold 800 thread count from Target? A bit thick, but they have a buttery feel to them! I love them! Not really “stiff,” just very cozy. And they have a sateen look to them. Is 800 thread count considered a “luxury” thread count. Need your wisdom in this area! 😊
Great question! Usually we advise against 800 thread count sheets, since they are super dense (not great for sleeping cool). But also, thread count is an indicator of how many threads can fit into a 1x1 inch square section, and as you can imagine, 800 is a lot of threads! Often brands will just take a 400 thread count fabric and put two layers together.
