Should’ve flown the chopper into the edge of the map with them on it and jump out just before. 😂
The biggest problem this has created is that there is now a "shoot first ask questions later mentality" among players- you are supposed to be able to merge teams and have a considerably easier time in the DMZ (with 6 + players you could deal with pretty much any threat) but literally no trusts anyone else not to kill them so it never happens - if you didn't have to wait until players were within shooting distance to ask them then maybe it would be more successful.
It's been shoot first ask questions later since day 1.
Was awesome watching it live and still hilarious as a video. Love that you working towards correcting the horrible habits of salty gamers.
ultimate troll would have been crashing them into a tower and you jumping out then saying "karma always catches up with you". ultimate clip right there.

I like how giving them the case was inspirational for them! A good trap, but they clicked onto the benefit of it being there fast. Maybe they turned a leaf? Hilarious.

Dude it was a boss move to plant the case next to them. You made doing that chemist mission look soo easy i busted my balls for days trying to do that one solo . Kudos to ya and ya karma 👍
I had a team of 6 and couldn't do that mission and then me and my brother ended up doing it by ourselves Ina day

I have the solution for the exfil . It was the first problem I noticed playing and one of the reasons I don’t play much anymore.
There’s the regular exfil and the hostage exfil which have their slightly less risky exfils.
My proposal is that green exfil smoke Grenades should be distributed around the map or made some type of unlockable (after any contract or completed mission) to be used at a player’s convenience.
Ideally You’d pick one up as loot and use at a location and time you decide. There still risk involved but it would add some tasks and would likely be much less risk. Could make it more fun for amateurs like myself who like to pop in, do a few missions and leave.

Hear me out. Get on the jet ski. Tell them to help you with a contract or that you know the best snipe position. Go full speed on the edge of out of bounds because you’re “being careful”. Sharply point it at the red out of bounds zone. Jump off. They die in 3 seconds with no hope of revive.

I've only exfil camped TWICE in my whole career in DMZ. I went to a exfil point and...camped the whole match...I only did this because of the tier 3 crown final mission where you need to plant trackers on hostile exfil birds. Well, I got one tracker on by being friendly, got the final bird too. Many matches later I went about it again. Team popped an advanced UAV, spotted, and killed me. They were kind enough to bring me in after I pleaded. I extracted with them just to jump off, and camp. Second flare to go up was a solo player...I killed them, tagged the helicopter and looted them...this really isn't something I do. I usually stay away from teams if I can...unless missions force me into PvP.... Third flare goes up and it's a team. I let them go, and tag my third and final exfil bird to complete the mission. A fourth team shows up to exfil and I requested to join, and got out with them.
I really genuinely believe most players would prefer if DMZ had a totally PVE mode so you didn't have to deal with other players and could have a more chill time vs NPCs. I would certainly play a lot more.

I just got done by an exfil camper. Was only a quick game as I had to sort out dinner. Get in, do a quick mission, leave.
Got in, all went well, uploaded an Intel, headed to the exfil
I must have been in raid for 6 mins
Got to the exfil and before I've even called it in....
I'm down.

Because nothing screams "this guy is on a mission" more than the 6 foot long Victus on a guys back and 3 tier one missions that have been completed and not even swapped to next ones.... Everytime it shocked me seeing them on a roof top close to a buystation or exfil... Total bs...
I still like the feeling of not knowing if someone is camping the exfil.. it's lame, but it comes with the extraction genre. I'm excited to see, especially with the changes in season 3, if in the future, there isn't some kind of "penalty" for spawn camping..
They're building a really enjoyable game.
There needs to be a penalty for spawn camping players in dmz. Those of us who love dmz want to see it thrive and progress.
@@jdjin291 yeah, something like a suspicion meter that measures a player’s distance relative to an exfill that sends in tier three armor bots to hunt down campers if the player spends too much time in one place.
Easy fix would be to turn off PvP damage - DMZ is still competitive enough just trying to deal with the bots without douchebags trying to rob you as well
I agree. It adds to the excitement. I don't like when people do it so I hunt those people sometimes. It's a PvP/PvE sandbox and ambushes are a part of it. Everyone knows this going in but then they want to call for regulations from the devs when they get upset about other players killing them.
@@josephstewart2821 absolutely not. PvP is part of the experience. Maybe something like a paid insurance for items lost for those willing to buy it. But don’t completely alter the dynamics of the game like that…

Thanks for dealing with that in the game and not crying that the devs should do something to stop camping. DMZ is a sandbox and people should be able to play how they want. Ambushes (camping) are a part of real war zone situations and you have to be prepared for it. There's great satisfaction in hunting down exfil campers!
Honestly when I noticed it growing, I just went back to Tarkov. 😊 but I still hope the overall game gets some drastic improvements and additions.
The irony is I can just spawn in with a stronghold keycard get a three plate and bag in under five minutes while these fools just sit there.

I loved how they were impressed with killing the chemist yourself. That coupled with camping the exfil’s sounds like they camp due to skill issues. Those that can’t play a game (or bored) live to ruin someone else’s day.
Absolutely....I don't have the best of skills playing this game. I get a game or 2 in before work and the same when I get home.I dislike when ppl camp exfils
@@rockytolbert2669 yep but it all comes down to personal preference. I play with a couple friends all the time and they love PvP but I like missions more with PvP if run into other players. I don’t like to actively seek out other people to which they avoid, except I’m the one that will see someone 300m away and think, I’ll just leave them alone and next thing I hear is “downed ‘em”, lol. I’ll engage because they do but don’t always like it. People that seek out PvP only have made me skeptical of everyone.

@@Phoenix021628 nah I don't do missions but we do contracts when we wipe the server, generally the raid weapon stash for faster weapon recovery and the hostage to leave
DmZ is more interaction and risk vs reward for me so it does not get boring

Had a guy exfil camp me and kill me a few matches ago and he didn't even take the chopper instead of me. He just wanted to stop others from taking it. Real great sportsmanship there.
I despise those guys, the worst are the ones that parachutes into the copters after take off, kill you, then parachute out to ruin the next player's day the same way when you thought you had a successful X-fil.... pure rage....

As a solo player seeing sniper glints by exfils drives me insane. I'll never understand hownitsbfun to climb a building and just sit there for 20+ mins.
I can only guess they're so addicted to the dopamine hit from getting player kills they're willing to demean themselves to get it. Kind of like a drug addicted chasing the next high and selling everything they own to get it.
Also its pretty sad that these guys often think they are good. Bro if you hide on rooftops overlooking known mission and exfil areas with full kit sniping chill players trying to have some basic fun you're not good you're actually a bit of a loser TBH.

Outside of mission requirements and self-defense, I don't push on players. But when the opportunity arises, pushing on exfil campers is such a joy!
