Faze played really well, but it seemed that even when Karmine Corp figured out their aerial game, they continued to try the same things anyways. So yes, Faze didn't lose just because of this bad clear, but it sure did quickly end their hopes of making a comeback in the series.
a champ 3 relaxed player would clear that easy, but a RLCS Pro that has more than a half hour in a series being with high pressure because is the first major that his team finally beats the 3° place and is the first opportunity to finally win a major probably could miss a open net or just a clear by the wall. Thats hard.
this is exactly why i don't get mad at my teammates anymore. if high level rocket league make bad clears like diamond gameplay then anything can happen. remember that this is just a game; competitive or not, just enjoy your moment and grind for the next.
@@nicolassalamanca8051 If they got to the rank you are, then they have a reason to be there, maybe they have big brains but can barely hit the ball, maybe they just position themselves perfectly and can get good touches, or maybe they’re super mechy and there offensive attacks make up for lack of defense, that’s where adaptability comes in. Adapting to your teammates. A good mindset to have is blaming yourself for everything even if you know your teammate could have done something better. Always think about what YOU could have done better for the play or whatever. Even if your teammate misses a game winning shot, even if you had no control over that specific play you can blame yourself for not doing enough before that. Don’t try and argue that your teammates throw every game because there’s always something YOU can do better. Your not playing with that same teammate every game. That’s why adapting is so important. And plus the blaming yourself idea also gives you a more positive mindset. When I was like champ 3 I remember always getting so uncontrollably mad I’d just leave the matches. I never get mad anymore. Here I am sitting in the middle of GC2 and yes there are some pretty bad players and some really good players but like I said they are all there for a reason. Adapt.

Especially when the way they play is to double commit on everything, frequently make you useless in the play, and it’s up to chance whether they can score more often than getting you scored on.

He will be fine , Faze improved a lot as a team , they were the best NA team this winter split for sure , this was also the best they ever did at a major so they are making progress but Karmine Corp is the best team in both Europe and the world and they proved it this at this major . It will be an interesting spring split , we will see if Faze can maintain their form and if somebody can dethrone Kcrop .

Nah man, GenG played better than Karmine Corp at the Fall Major, and Faze absolutely destroyed GenG 3 times in a row (coming from a GenG fan). Faze was the hottest team going into this Major, but they choked at the end like they often do. If they want to win worlds, they've gotta stop choking when it matters most.

I was a little distracted at the event but went back to look at pieces of that series and Fk didn’t look in usual form, making a lot of mistakes that he even reacted on camera like he knew he messed up. That and the impromptu bathroom break, I’m wondering if he was ok that day.

FK for catching and clearing high with no boost and the 2 others on the team for being on top of each other in corner boost instead of atleast 1 being down at the goal with 12 boost or sum to atleast try and help FK
