+kk andre the light output is a nice bright "pure white" type of white. if i recall correctly i purchased the bulbs off of ebay. i just searched H11 Osram Unlimited Nightbreaker. I cant wait for prices on OEM HID replacements to start coming lower. upon this videos release, HID headlights with real OEM HID's were in the 900$ range, they've come down to about mid 350$ with aftermarket companies... so maybe there will be an OEM HID type of video in the future for my vehicle... which is the only reason I haven't dropped money on an HID "kit" for a retrofit... i would rather do the OEM replacement
if I remember correctly there is a clip on either side and you can pinch and then pull down and it'll come off. you can twist the bulb and pull it out then unclip the bulb after you pull it out bc there isn't much room
Hey Hon, my concern is if I pull it out and then unclip the bulb out, wouldn't I just pull the bulb out of its alignment? If I do this and put in the HID bulbs replacement to put back, will it 'snap' back in its place because I don't want to have the bulb misaligned afterwards. Hope you understand what I mean.
+supercooled if you twist and pull the bulb out, then unclip it, you won't do anything to the alignment, the alignment is set by a screw that moves the projector housing around which the bulb goes into.
Travis Dean no, its an AEM veloster cold air intake. I just didnt use the second tube that puts the filter behind the foglight as it made the filter rub the foglight, because the veloster and forte have different front bumpers. i then cut probably 3 or 4 inches off of the main tube and the i also installed a shorter filter. I did all this months ago as there wasnt any intake on the market then. I plan on eventually replacing it with a 6th element engineering cold air intake that you can find here: www.6thelementengineering.com/product-p/01-01-100.htm
If you leave the circular covers off then moisture gets in especially during the night and pretty soon you will have foggy headlights from the inside as well as the outside. Water inside it will eventually ruin your headlights and the wire's too. Flake away all the chrome inside your headlight or destroy the lenses on the projector lights.
Sorry i couldn't watch the whole video the heavy breathing was like a bad porn..but thanks though
Tashad Fowler lol... I noticed that too...
Thanks, man! 6 min video saved me a ton of time banging around under the hood. Cheers!
Loved the video , is there anyway you can show me how to change the turn signal bulb in my Kia 2014 forte koup ex
Appreciate it
Just an FYI, I finally got the bulbs, turns out for the 2010 they actually don't fit, the 2010 is a different fit to your model shown here..
+kk andre that sucks that you got the incorrect bulbs... I usually check the sylvania website to check the bulb sizes etc.
Where did you buy the bulbs? Do you think they would fit on a 2010? And are they white lights or blue?

1. Do you still own the car?
2. How many miles on it?
3. Have you had any issues with it yet?
It was totaled in a car crash in 2016.

are there any locking clips on the bulb? I tried to replace MI e but didn't know how to disengage it from the wires.
