So much good stuff in your videos. I wish I was 30 years younger to go and work on these awesome cruise ships. It just wasn't a thing when i was a 20 something.
Hello Lucy! It is such a relief to hear your explanations about getting a job with on cruise ships. For the past 10+ years most of my job experience was related to small town restaurant (food service) employments and a tenure of retail.
Lucy said that, before she took this specific assignment, she had to agree with the 'employer' that she would restrict her vlogs so that the employer and the cruise line were never identified. If Lucy does take an excursion and if she vlogged it, the vlog might identify what cruise line she was on. That's why her recent vlogs are simply "the best of" type ones with nothing personal involving Lucy's travels.
@@vadimbanner2024 The employer obviously wants to "control the narrative' and doesn't want any negative vlogs or any vlogs that they do not control. The employer could create their own vlogs if they "wanted free advertising" but the viewers would know that the content came from them. Lucy abided with her employer's rules.
Lucy, great job as always. For someone just starting out this would be great info, and for customers it could explain if you get someone without very much experience in their field.
This video was so helpful! I have some experience but it all just felt so overwhelming. This is going to be the year I finally apply and see what happens!
Hey, Lucy! I've been watching your videos for some time now! Great job! Thanks for all the precious info! This particular video gave me ideas of possible answers to questions that may arise during my interview! So thank you very much again! I appreciate it! (Love your accent btw) ❤ Warm regards from Brazil 🇧🇷

@@UA-camrrrrrrrrrrr That wasn't the question. Her new position, which is giving cruisers information on the ports they are visiting, was not mentioned in this video. Great video, very helpful, thank you. I´m glad you´ve spoken about exactly those postition I´m interested in haha, that´s interesting. I´m flying to London for the Cruise Job Fair next month and will use info from this video to benefit me. Thank you. ;).
Love to know what the sales figures are for art on a cruise ship. Do people really think about buying art while they are on a cruise? Are there artists on board who will sketch you for a fee?
Me been working on a customer service for almost 7 years and I want to work in a cruise ship any job that would suit with my work experience as a customer services.

No job could pay enough to have to deal with me as a customer :) , customer service on a ship really must be such a hard job as so much is not under your control
Only two such plumber job salaries show up on shiplife/salaries, so it's hard to be sure. But, they show 2200 to 2300 USD per month, assuming significant experience with maritime/shipboard plumbing, vacuum toilets, etc. I hope this helps?
So accurate about Guest Services! You really need to have the patience of a saint!
Girl, I just left my first 🚢 cruise❤❤❤❤ and I’m in love. I found what I want. I can’t wait to work with you one day ❤❤❤❤ Thank you for your videos.

Heinneman with Royal or Harding, which one is better ???
I dont know anything about Heinneman unfortunately. Choose the company based on the ship they offer you. That's what I would do.

Hi gorgouse Lucy, do you have to pay for your STCW training or the LWA will cover that cost if needed? Where have you done yours? Cost?
You have to pay urself for STCW & Training. LWA don't pay
It depends on the cruise line - some train all the crew on board so they don't require you to have valid STCW before joining
Hello you help me to get a job please
