There was an accident with a red Musta in Texas earlier this week. Law enforcement out out a call for dash cans footage. It was red and driving extreme!y fast in the toll lane. The estimate was 100 MPH. The car lost control and spun out. The split in two just behind the seats. The driver died at the scene.

Whether or not the doctor warned him (along with any large warnings on the bottle) comes into play too.
All of that would need to be worked out in court if he'd done something that necessitated an appearance.

#13 cammer is an absolute dope , he could see the truck turning and refused to slow instead choosing to clip the trucks back end and then chase the truck down and cut off and clip the front aswell...... and then blames the truck for all of it...... all you had to do was slow a bit and let the truck finish his turn but you refused to give any consideration and chose to cause damage to your vehicle because of arrogance

@@fram79 I hate people who cause accidents and say "But I had the right of way!". Yes, you did. But cemeteries are filled with people who had right of way. Its why I'm glad that the law recognizes fault if you had right of way but also had a clear chance to avoid the accident.

It is illegal in many states and provinces to drive under the influence of a prescription drug. That guy might get charged.

There's a number of medications that say "don't drive" after taking due to drowsiness, dizziness, etc. Almost ALL of the medications that MAY cause double vision as a rarer side effect you're generally advised NOT TO DRIVE because downiness, dizziness. ........... Not to mention to continue driving with "double vision" as he referred to it IS reckless driving / reckless endangerment - no care or concern for others - and had he actually hit someone very easy criminal charges.
a few years back I damaged a nerve in my head that gave me double vision, when you have it, you know all about it. I struggled to do stuff like get keys into locks, Id make tea and miss the cup and pour water all over the kitchen worktop, there was no way I was safe to drive. I didnt use the car for 6 months while it healed.

seriously. plus most parking lots have intersections where there are no stop/yield signs creating a higher chance of collision.
As someone who had to push shopping carts back to the store, this is nothing new.
The Kroger near me is the sketchiest parking lot in the whole town in regards to the crazy drivers. They go super fast, whip around corners, and they’re all angry. One lady tried to back out of a spot after I started backing out of mine opposite her and she threw her hands up all angry. I just stared at her until she pulled back into her spot so I could get out of the way. I avoid that lot whenever possible.

#13 Transport didn't run. The cammer was 100% at fault. Never once slowed down. And even when the transport was coming to a stop the cammer hit the transport a second time.
#33 This is why you should try to give dashcam footage to the people involved in the accident and not the police. Unless it's a major incident the police don't give a crap about your dashcam footage but the people involved in the accident would probably love a copy, especially if they are an innocent victim and want proof of such.

This was just someone trying to get a pay day. All the time to slown down and never did. I watched the clip several times and prior to hitting the truck he was doing 61mph. Once he clipped semi he slowed to 59. Then chased semi down and did almost 80 to catch up breaking several laws. I bet that semi driver didn't even feel that guy tap him lol

1:50 anytime you are on any heavy medication you shouldnt be driving. Also your doctor who prescribed this medication should have told you the side effects. If they didnt they should lose their medical license.

*At least the driver admits they are on a new medication but STILL made a concious decision to operate a motor vehicle. 🤔 I'm curious what that person did with the literature that accompanied the prescription when they picked up the prescription from the pharmacy. 🤔
Maybe they had no issues until then. I started a new medicine and felt fine and better for the first 6 weeks. After that, I started getting dizzy with high and low blood pressure. The doctor decided to increase my dose despite my issues and sent me to the ER for overdose and heart issues. At 6 weeks, it's still typically new. We will never know his circumstances.

#4- there is absolutely no way you couldn’t tell you were impaired. If you even think you are impaired, it’s best to pull off and check to see if you are (I.e sobriety test yourself)

The person that took medication causing vision problems should not have driven. That driver could have caused a serious accident or death. Allways make a report and take pictures to avoid possible scams. 20. Cammer is speeding, 36 in a 25, white car made a blind lane change, which is an unsafe lane change. Two drivers breaking the law are the fault of this accident. There's a yellow sign at 8:41 that says "SLOW DOWN" with a 25 mph sign on it, this is why I'm saying it's a 25 zone.

Exactly this. #13s speed didn't change until AFTER the first collision. That's on them as drivers must take reasonable action to avoid accidents - that's a law in every state. Then he initiates an accident by chasing down the trucker and sideswiping him. Insurance is going to have a field day with that tape.

I was in a bad wreck when I was younger. I find watching these videos very therapeutic, almost like exposure therapy. It makes me less stressed when I drive.
Am I the only person who's watching this (and a whole load of other USA & Canada dashcam videos) wondering why no one seems to know any defensive driving? Some (not all but some) of these accidents could have been avoided with some defensive driving by the innocent bystanders that end up getting hit.
Defensive driving is not helpful all the when you are waiting at the light and someone hit you from the back nothing you can do about

I got my license with 10 hours experience and almost all of which was highway. Ive never read the manual.

@@oliverwilliam6931 Thats why I said "Some", when you take out the idiots running red lights & STOP signs there is still a significant number of accidents that could have been prevented if defensive driving was used 8:45 is a good example where the accident could possibly have been avoided if the bystander driver had seen the cars ahead in the other lane slowing down to a stop & slowed down in anticipation that the driver in that lane might veer into their lane to avoid rear-ending the car in front of them.

#45 -- I vote for the Mazda:
a) The Mazda was behind, so the driver should've seen the Civic;
b) The Mazda driver intentionally timed it so that he didn't stop for the red light;
c) Both lanes of the ramp are clearly marked with signs that say "form single lane", yet the Mazda driver still tried to rush past the Civic.

I also vote the Mazda. With metered lanes, you're supposed to merge into a single line zipper-style upon getting the green and entering the freeway. Mazda was not slowing down as they should when the Honda was merging.
The biggest problem with those lanes and the lights to regulate flow is that drivers need to floor it in order to get into the flow of traffic on the highway. Obviously, the Mazda should have seen the Honda, but any driver who does not floor it here (especially at the Springfield entrance) is going to cause a slowdown when they merge in another few yards.
@@jimmcmonagle2360 That is generally true but that is not an issue at this onramp. There is a dedicated lane so they don't have to merge with anyone except the other onramp lane. I think they should stagger the cars a bit more than this light though because people still manage the screw it up.

Got news for the guy who clipped the rear end of the semi, you're going to be found out fault for chasing him down, crossing a double yellow line and then try and claim he hit you again. Most states have a "last chance doctrine" which means you have to try and avoid an accident even if you're not the one who was the idiot. It doesn't look like you even braked to avoid the semi. I agree he's an idiot for pulling in front of you but you have to try and avoid him. To be honest, I don't he even knew that you clipped his trailer.
Only part of your comment that I disagree with is you thinking the truck driver was an idiot for pulling out. Looked to me like he would have had plenty of time if the cammer hadn't been recklessly speeding.

Guys, I love your videos! They really do make me a safer driver. When I see the stupid things some people do on the roads it refreshes my memory of things I was taught when I learned how to drive but may have forgotten. Of course some of these idiots were never taught properly, like the girl learning how to do a 3 point turn, the father should not be teaching his daughter how to drive. Just because you have been driving for 20 years doesn't mean you're a competent driving instructor. Everyone on the road should be required to take driver education classes by a certified instructor before they can get a license.

#13 6:12 YOU hit him twice. You had plenty of time to react but didn't even slow down when you clipped his rear bumper (he likely didn't realise you'd collided). Then you hit him again when you cut in front of him. This video will be helpful to him :)
Yeah, Cammer is a douche or most likely was distracted, on his phone and tried to pin the blame on the truck driver who had been pulling out at least several hundred yards from the cammer's approach. Then second time sounds more like insurance fraud more than anything.

The first hit is on the trucker but the second was 100 percent the other driver. You don’t pull other people over if you not a cop especially not a 18 wheeler by flying around and getting in front of them
@@matthewgancher6953no it's not. Even though the trucker pulled out a bit prematurely, the car had all the time in the world to stop. The last clear chance doctrine would definitely apply to him. He had a last clear chance to slow down and avoid the truck. He was most likely distracted.

Probably because they saw the drunk driver heading in their direction and wanted them to stop. So they did.
46 at 19:50, I have no knowledge how a car turning left has the right of way against oncoming traffic. Doesn’t matter if it’s a turning lane, you have to yield to them. I can’t fathom how if I’m in a right turning lane I have to look to the left to make sure a car isn’t turning into me. Make it make sense.
She caused the accident. If she was making a right turn like she was supposed to in that lane the accident most likely wouldn't have happened. She went straight through at speed which is against the law. If she was slowing for the turn one or both of them would have had time to see each other but she wasn't using the turn lane to make a turn. If she had been making a turn and they hit each other it would have been all or mostly the cammers fault. She can't get away with breaking driving laws and not be held accountable for her actions which caused the accident.
