I've watched so many space related shows. The expanse, invasion, lost in space and more. For All Mankind is really my personal favorite out of all. It's a treat to watch every episode and it's a good blend between a hard sci fi and a show which tells stories. It evolves around characters but also put audience through what might happen if we do venture toward Mars. I really hope this show keep up with this production standard moving forward.
I'm sad knowing in the future seasons (if it reaches like season 6), some of these people's characters would eventually pass away and won't be seeing them on screen. But it's what I love about this show. These long story arcs that showcase lifetimes of the characters we've grown to care about and the choices these characters make.
I love this show! The premise of the first season is sensational, the technological and behavioral leap of humanity resulting from the USA vs. USSR competition... It's a shame that the general public is simply not talking about it
Killing off Karen and Molly is both ageist and sexist. And the annoying go and pathological Stevens brothers are allowed to get away with the death / murder of people with no believable consequences. Bad move on the part of the show.
I was just thinking to myself "wow, Krys looks incredible these days, she looks so young and shes glowing!" but then i remembered she's actually not in her mid sixties 😅
This show is my favourite show streaming right now. I know it's not a good guys vs bad guys show, it deals more with character conflicts, and those don't typically do that well unless they're comedy and have access to a wide variety of ridiculous situations. But I love the dynamic between the different settings, and how the stories of their lives feels so well rounded, and the conflicts and issues build. Reminds me a little of Rome the HBO series.
Spoiler alert - I am very disappointed in the slanted season finale for Season 3. Two very strong women with great stories to play out which would be very uplifting for women to watch are killed off (Karen Baldwin and Molly Cobb). This seems so typical of the movie / film industry that you would kill off female characters who can have a more nuanced and intriguing story line, and none of the men. Not even either of the incredibly creepy and tiresome Stevens brothers. To my mind either would have been a slam dunk to axe because there is no real dimension to either character. They are both self-absorbed and one dimensional and no longer add to the narrative. This decision once again marginalizes the role of women in an otherwise more balanced program. Too bad you did it.😟
Yes, I agree with you. There were some obvious characters who could have been 'removed' but they chose to hit two cast leaders. I have read their excuses for doing so but, honestly, I think it is a cop out. The scenes leading to the finale were not convincing and portrayed the security police as being recalcitrant to a fault. Karen was poised to make things really interesting but, instead, they 'saved' Kelly who was frankly irresponsible and annoying in terms of the sacrifice the crew were obliged to make because she took that risk. Surely the crew would have been briefed during training and schooled on how to prevent a pregnancy and the consequences of ignoring those rules. We were robbed of a superb dramatic plotline by this tangential subplot. I guess the writers were pandering to the crowd who would have wanted the unborn child to be saved above all those other lives. Something in that plot line did not sit well. ..and don't get me started on Jimmy; he mopped up so much screen time moping and brooding, it was horrible and he got off 'scot free'.
You can't be fucking serious. All the good characters in the show are women. Men are the pathetic ones. You got Dani, Margo, Aleida, Ellen and you are still complaining? Except Ed Baldwin, all the male characters are fucking pathetic. But I guess all you do is complain

Phenomenal show! So underrated. It deserves more recognition. Best sci-if/drama I’ve ever seen. And the cast - chef’s kiss
One of the best shows on streaming. Amazing cast, amazing storytelling. I'm so ready for S4.

We need some alien contact and ET story lines.
I love the color but I can't take Coral seriously in that outfit ☠️☠️🤣
