Spoiler* In the manga it seemed like ichigo was wrong for not trusting Ishida. This version makes much more sense. It seems logical that they could think Ishida betrayed them.
In the manga, Ishida literally attacked Ichigo multiple times, helped Yhwach kill the Soul King and heavily wounded Yoruichi when she tried to stop Yhwach. Yoruichi literally lost an arm because Uryu in the manga. If anything Ichigo was far too trusting towards Ishida and everyone was far too willing to forgive Ishida in the Manga. It would have made perfect sense and completely logical if no one trusted Ishida in the Manga Version. In the Anime Version Ishida goes above and beyond to betray everyone. To the point, its nonsensical that the Ichigo & his friends are still trying to reason with Ishida at all.

I see my boy Uryu using his shrift just in time to not kill Renji. You can see that halo in Renji's chest about the same time Uryu fired the arrow. The arrow disappeared and re-appeared behind Renji. He can't fool Jugram tho.

It's not a Renji fight unless he's up against someone significantly stronger than him. He still toughs it out like a champ but let's be honest, he stomps so many other antagonists but the plot just has him go against up the wrong people haha

Spoiler warning if you haven't seen episode 8 of Cur 3 yet. Between last weeks episode and this weeks, I think Hihitensho is actually kind of reminiscent of Pernida. Pernida loses a finger and it turns into another small Pernida hand, while Hihio loses it's fur and the fur turns into more of Hihio's hands. I would like to believe this is intentional from Kubo, as the Soul King is the base of everything in the Bleach universe and so the Hihio side of So-oh Zabimaru is an ability in Pernida's (the Soul King's left arm) likeness. Also Hihio is the left arm of So-oh Zabimaru, just as Pernida is the left arm if the Soul King. I really love Kubo's imagination.

@septianrico4141 He was actually in the fight because of the two chapters before. The person to attack Yhwach order was Aizen, Renji, Aizen then Ichigo with his final attack
This fight was kinda of a mess, it would have benefited more if it was more Dark souls like and both were thinking on how to realistic win, this had potential. The way it was might engage kids and It's enough for many, but in contrast the reason naruto felt better than any other growing up and feels timeless for me It's cause they actually put effort in the coreography, It's like a story in itself. If you reduce the level of animation here and put the resources on making smarter moves you get a better fight, more frames and big things is not equal better and emotional engagement.
This fight had soo many callbacks and nuances that you missed. Renji saying he needed 20 seconds just like he did to Uryu when they fought Szaelapporo, the use of Renji's old Zanpakuto abilities being shown in his Bankai, the foreshadowing of the name So-oh zabimaru. The storytelling is there but unfortunately for some they're unable to look deep enough into it.
