Giselle Gewelle: THE ZOMBIE | BLEACH Character Analysis
Вставка
- Опубліковано 22 сер 2023
- Giselle Gewelle, Sternritter “Z” is introduced during the Thousand Year Blood War Arc of BLEACH. In this video I will explore Giselle’s sadistic and cruel nature, as well as her exciting confrontations with Kenpachi Zaraki and Ichigo Kurosaki. We will also break down how her zombification abilities work, and why she enslaves one of her own comrades, Bambietta Basterbine, when she is obviously near the point of death. By the end of this video, you will have a comprehensive understanding of Giselle’s character.

Its definitely interesting to note that not a single member of the Bambis tried to save Bambietta. None of them tried to stop Giselle from killing and transforming her into a zombie too. They just look at her defeated and injured body with pure, cold indifference and just watches Giselle transform Bambietta into a zombie. Which got me thinking that the Bambis never really cared, liked or even respected Bambietta in the first place. They don't hesitate to show their dislike for her sexual shenanigans too. They really just follow her out of convenience and turn on her the second they get the chance. This is proven to be an inherent behavior of the Quincies. They always backstab, betray and kill each other for their own selfish desires. They always bicker among themselves in any matters. From their own king, Yhwach betraying and killing them just so he can use his Auswahlen, to Uryu betraying Yhwach in the final battle, Haschwalth going against Uryu, Bazz-B going against Haschwalth and betraying the Bambies just to fight and kill Ichigo himself, Pepe trying to kill Liltotto and Meninas and making them his love slaves, Liltotto beating and devouring Pepe, Giselle turning Bambi into a zombie and the surviving Sternritters turning against Yhwach in the end when they realized that he had forsaken them to achieve his goals.
The Quincies truly are a bunch of disorganized and selfish psychos
Ain't no way bro typed all that over a Gisele vid
Except for the quincies on earth like Uryu's family and Masaki Kurosaki.
@@krimsonmoon 😂😂😂it needed to be said BRO. How you going to betray your leader like that ?
She would have been killed by Ywach/Haschwald anyway. It was useless to save her because she lost like Cang Du and BG9.
This tracks. I bowed out of bleach around the soul society arc's conclusion. But I remember hearing how the Shinigami annihilated the Quincies, feeling bad for them but thinking Ishida was a total jackass; releasing a swarm of hallows on the town just to outperform Ichigo was so reckless of the lives of bystanders. I thought it was just out of hatred of Shinigami but the more Quincy antics I see the more I think the Shinigami for all their faults didn't try to genocide them just because their method of dealing with hollows was causing imbalance but because being an unhinged sociopath is just standard for them.
Pretty interesting that Mayuri ends up fighting two characters who are heavily implied to be very sketchy in regards to sexual actions.
Given how both Szayel and Giselle pervert the notion of creating and nurturing life, while Mayuri’s greatest dream is to create a new life, it makes him a fitting foil to both of them.
Giselle is a very entertaining villain and definitely one of the most memorable of the Sternritters!
Ummmm did you not see him revive nemu?….
@@victorampo1137 which is why he considers her a 'dream' creation, for her to exist mayuri must be dreaming because she shouldnt exist, but she did
Mayuri vs lust, Byakuya vs love 😂
yeah, Mayuri's encounters with Szayel and Giselle do highlight their twisted approaches to life and creation. Mayuri's desire to create new life contrasts sharply with their perverted actions. And I agree, Giselle is indeed a memorable and entertaining villain in Bleach.

Honestly her character is kind of on brand. Remember Kubo created this character over 10 years ago. The sterns being a mix of people from all backgrounds and nationalities is genius from a story telling point
Aren't they all German?
But they're all still Quincy supremacist fascists.
@@micah459Probably not. Would you say Cang Du was German?
@@MrGksarathy Yes. You can be both German and Asian. You do know race and nationality aren't the same right
@@micah459 Fair, but I don't think he's culturally German either, just the same as Uryuu definitely isn't aside from casting Quincy spells.
Also, Ywach seems to have picked up Echt Quincies from all over.
Yumichika calling Giselle out when I first read the chapter I was like WTF.
Reminds me of Poison from Street Fighter
It's not even the fact that they're a man that's so shocking. It's the fact that they don't shower and not even trying to mask the smell of their family mucus
Yeah. When I first read it, I was confused. When I reread it, I was horrified.
I remember when I read it. I was like Dr Umar Johnson: "I beg your pardon."
yeah, Yumichika's reaction to Giselle was definitely unexpected and caught many readers off guard.
I don’t think Bambi wanting Giselle’s reward is sexual. It’s meant to appear that way but she wants the blood to stay alive. CFYOW shows Bambi with her living personality when she has enough.
He said this himself in the video where he talked about giselles ability
@@justbored-s the part where Bambi is begging for a need DBZ implies it was sexual. Unless I misheard that.
true, Bambi's desire for Giselle's reward in Bleach may not necessarily be sexual. It's open to interpretation, and CFYOW sheds more light on her motivations and personality.
@@ChromaticEagle he made another video just about giselle's schrift. This is the video where he said that bambietta wants giselle's blood because the zombies need the blood to “live“
It's blood for sure, but that scene in the manga is absolutely sexual.
I honestly do hope we get her backstory in a anime only scene and once we get the scene between her and Bambietta is going to be something else when it gets animated
Not going to happen
"her"
boku means "man" not "she/them tiddies" bs
Giselle is definitely complex in terms of character, personality and sex. Giselle one the surface is a scatter but in reality she's twisted and insane. It's a plausible theory that Giselle and Bambieta were good friends before the rest of the Bambis arrived.
That's really what it seems like. Like Giselle's twisted view of Bambietta is her sadism combined with jealousy, jealousy that Bambietta has others around her now. I dunno.
giselle is indeed a complex character with a twisted and insane personality. It's possible that she and Bambietta had a close friendship before the other Bambis joined.
My hot take is that Giselle is in love with Bambi, and Bambi is a closeted lesbian who keeps killing men because she gets frustrated that they don't arouse her
hot takes can be interesting, but let's remember to respect characters' identities and orientations as portrayed in the series. It's important not to make assumptions or speculate without concrete evidence.@@Shinntoku
@@Shinntoku Honestly that's what I think too. I highly doubt Bambi is straight, or that she goes all the way with the soldat she kills.
I honestly think the girls hated Bambietta specifically because it seemed like Tato cared about the others when she confronted Yhwach for betraying them
In my headcanon, they hated Banbietta because she was bossy and rude. Litotto seems to care about a lot the rest of them. She protected Giselle during the war and didn’t kill the pink hair one when she got possessed by the love guy
Gigi is a good character, but not every villian needs a sad back story. Not every villian has to have a reason they are this way. Some villians are there to be hated. Giving them some weepy backstory cheapens the character. Take Dolores Umbridge for example. The character, while absolutely hated both in univere and out, was none the less a PHENOMENONAL villian. With no backstory to sympathize with, we hated her all the more. And thus thats exactly what her character was meant to do.
Nobody said they do and most Bleach villains don't. Aizen and Tokinada don't have sad backstories and neither does Yhwach. It honestly makes more sense for Giselle to have a sad backstory when you actually think about her character and gender
@@micah459 Notice the theme of how those who have everything in Bleach are the ones who want to create a new exclusive/exclusionary world where only they would thrive while those who have nothing like Orihime are the most pure and kindhearted people in the saga.
@@manuelacosta9463Indeed. It is telling that the main hero of the story, Ichigo, is a very humble and down-to-earth person, who simply wants to live a normal life while being able to protect the ones he cares for. While the Nobels and main antagonists all struggle with feeling isolated and depressed due to their lofty ambitions or knowing how twisted the world is.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 Truth. The irony, the nobles have everything yet are trapped in a world of deadly paranoia because the families cant stop trying to get one over each other. With Aizen and Tokinada it was the forbidden knowledge that help move them to the direction they went, though as Tokinada himself aptly stated the nobles have always been rotten and would happily join him in his imperialistic ambitions. He told this to Yoruichi and she sadly acknowledged this in CFYOW.
@@manuelacosta9463 Oh yes. It is a effective contrast that Byakuya, the head of the most admired Noble family, was actually depressed and miserable after losing his wife and parents, while the fallen Shiba clan members like Kukaku and Ganju both were still able to enjoy life, despite losing both their brother and uncle.
Wealth and power having little value without someone to share it with, is a very good message and shows why most of the Nobles are actually very pitiful characters.
Alternative head canon. She probably was born a serial killer, and did away with her parents as her first victims. It's very on brand for serial killers to be manipulative, and her zombie powers tie into that aspect of pretending to care about someone, when they really don't, and simply want to take advantage of them/kill them.
Dio's an example of this. Since he's based off that kind of killer.
If that is the case, there's no way her family didn't abuse her, given how genuinely emotionally unstable she is.
About the dio thing dio wouldn't do that to his mother cause he actually cares about his mother
HE'S
Giselle is a great example of "never judge a book by it's cover."
Giselle is just another example of him transforming into a girl just to deceive others, and yet the entire leftist side of the bleach community did not watch nor red bleach or just simply misunderstood it
15:57 So sad that Giselle face didn't make the thumbnail its very iconic it could've been perfectly placed in the middle.
Just stop, 🥴
😂😂😂
This character is interesting but Giselle always creeped me out in the manga and the anime how their duel personalities always came out at random of caring and then cruelness it was scary
I wonder if giselle's back story has more to do with bambi then we think. It just read to me when bambi was begging for her life it seemed more of a "getting eaten by the monster you created" moment like bambietta knew it was specifically going to be giselle and that was the worse case.
Heres my theory bambietta would constantly abuse giselle BECAUSE giselle's ability allowed her to be adused worse then the other men (side note: this isnt about her gender idenity more of her personality) so eventually giselle learned more about how her ability can be used. once bambietta learned either that her abuse just wasnt doing anything to giselle anymore or giselle was too strong to abuse backed off. leaving this monster bambietta knew she shouldnt drop her guard around.
That would be super fucked up, but also depressingly realistic, especially if Giselle was abused before she met Bambi.
Sounds like the plot of Redo of...
[Redacted]
Mayuri is looking at Giselle like, "Was that really what I was like in the Soul Society Arc?"
Yes yes you were
Giselle is actually my favorite Bambi in that how she looks and acts is in such contrast with her actual personality. That and how absolutely terrified Bambietta was when she realized she was at Giselle's mercy...or rather lack thereof really won me over. Her fight with Mayuri, same as Mayuri's fight with Szayel both show how truly terrifying the head of the Research division can be with prep time.

ah Giselle Gewelle the character who single handedly bring SAO levels of controversy to Bleach by raping Bambietta Basterbine
I never saw it as sexual just thought Bambi wanted her blood. Back when I read it the first time.
I love how UA-cam's AI automated CCs (subtitles) keeps flipping from she to he when you talk about Gigi.
That said, I can see why you'd think that for her backstory. It works and makes sense considering Äs Nödt's story.
I always interpreted what Bambietta was ao desperate for was more of Gigi's blood. But the closer I look at it...yeah
I interpreted it as Bambietta being blood thirsty (like an addict) and doing things she wouldn't otherwise do...the image isn't pretty.
Yeah its blood we know it is. But the director's being very creative also wanted to give us a impression of gigi a dark evil sick freak cause in the cave scene it looks like gigi "somewhere else" with bambis body its actualy her sucking blood from stomach. You see what there trying to do now?

That dude is just a necrophilic pervert that preys on women. Nothing else that shines and nothing else to see. Even in CFYOW where Liltotto gets more insight Giselle just stays being an unhinged pervert that doesn't care about anything else that isn't keeping Bambi as a zombie.
I remember early somewhere the guy mentioning all Quincy are born males and never female.
Your videos butter My biscuits thank you
With the interactions between Giselle and Yumichika, I don't think Yumichika was being offensive in the way of saying Giselle is a man and denies her being trans.
Moreso, I think because he "smells" something, and somewhat sees through her personality, he believes that she identifies as a woman for deviant reasons (as explained in the video).
Additionally, it's possible he was saying this to provoke her, just like she had provoked them. I don't think Kubo would be as shallow of a writer to just make Yumichika be anti-trans (not that it isn't a possibility).
It makes more sense to me that Yumichika was taunting Giselle (an enemy who's killed countless soul reapers) with an incredibly personal attack (which would be offensive to trans people, but not because he himself is anti-trans, moreso this would elicit a strong response from her, an enemy), as well as judging her based on what he understand to be her sexual deviancy and sadistic/repulsive nature.
See, I also want to give Kubo and the quality of his writing the benefit of the doubt, but on the other hand I can't help but find the fact that the only "trans" character in his story just so happens to be a sexual deviant who gets off on killing and enslaving women to be a bit... A bit sketch.
And how do we find out she's not cis you ask? She gets called a disgusting piece of poopy, pervert by a cis man who can just smell the rank stench of cock n' balls wafting off of her.
Like, this is it. This is the one singular character in the entire series that he decides is going to be gender nonconforming. It seems a bit coincidental that this is the character that Kubo decided to introduce crossdressing and conflicting gender identity into his series for. I just can't really look at this whole mess and honestly say that I believe Yumichika didn't mean every single word he said.
@@krokulridgestalker7007I mean, there is Charlotte, who was a comical but a decent enough person who did not conform to typical gender ideas. Just because Giselle is the most direct character to bring up gender in the series, they are not the first.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 considering that Charlotte is just a another set of negative stereotypes smushed into one character: hulking, ugly, brutish, violent, delusional, a villain (need I even mention her skin color at this point?) , also taken down by Yumichika, a protagonist who- would you look at that, once again completely rejects her identity and ridicules her for it.. . .
Yea, I'm not sure that's really helping.
@@krokulridgestalker7007 I mean, is Charlotte really that ugly though? I would say compared to someone like Nnoitora or Po, Charlotte is pretty decent looking. Plus, is being stereotypical automatically a bad thing? Plus, the fight highlights the fact that Yumichika is kind of a hypocrite and that him being so quick to insult others based on his own views on beauty, is part of him not being willing to truly express himself.
Also, there are plenty of villains in Bleach who are decent enough people. Starrk, Harribel, Jackie, Riruka, while the so-called heros have people like Mayuri and are lead by a guy like Ichibe. The morality of Bleach is meant to be pretty gray, not a simple "Good vs. Evil" story.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 I mean listen. I don't know Kubo personally, so I don't know for certain what's going on through his head. And as I said, I would like to give the man the benefit of the doubt, but I can't help but find some of his choices a bit questionable. I'm not going to comment on your personal preferences, but if you look at Charlotte's design from a japanese, heterocentric perspective of beauty standards, you'll come to realise that she is the most repulsive thing to ever exist on this earth. Whether a character being stereotypical is a bad thing or not is irrelevant to my point, because what I'm more concerned about is what exactly the author is thinking when making them. Given how the only times Kubo introduces the ideas of gender nonconformity into his story is when he wants to make a nasty villain or a big joke of a character, I'm not getting good vibes.
Just to make it clear, my opinion is very much so subjective and if you feel differently about it, then you do you. As a trans person myself, in a vacuum I love Giselle's character, but in the context of bleach she also makes me uncomfortable, because of the reasons I've already stated. She makes me question why- if Kubo were a trans ally- is this how his trans characters are presented. As shitty queer caricatures and sexual predators.
Gigi’s a mix of a few archetypes that were coming around the time she was written. She’s a very adorable yangire. I love that she isn’t bipolar, like switching between cutesy and violent, she mixes it really well. And a kinda necrophiliac on top of that, my word! She doesn’t need a sad backstory, she’s clearly just a twisted sadist and that’s enough.
Also, I know Gigi is male. I personally think she’s a femboy but, I understand some people think she’s trans. Also she’s just so cute I think it’s fine to use she/her. At the end of the day, those things don’t matter to me. Make me your zombie Gigi~ 💙☠️💙

16:45 bambeitta was so heartbreaking at this scene
It was implyed that Bambietta got her soul back at the end of CFYOW novels but that doesn't make sense Yhwach absorbs the souls of all the Quincys so she shouldn't have a soul but the novels never gave an explanation on it same with why the Quincys betrayed Bambietta it was never explained and Bambietta did care about them so why betray her
Shut up hater
To be fair, Giselle and Bambi weren't directly hit by the light, and in Bleach, it's clear that a konpaku can return/be reconstructed so long as the body and reiryoku are intact. Same goes for reiatsu. It cannot actually be destroyed, only contained or interrupted.
@@MrGksarathy the light have nothing to do with it in mask fight the moment he died he became blue dust and returned to Yhwach using this logic same thing should happened to Bambietta plus even if her soul survived somehow how is it possible for her to go back to her body without help of someone at least with mayuri it was explained how he revived the soul reapers But with Quincys it's a completely different thing it bothers me to no end not having an answer and to this day kubo never gave explanation on it its very frustrating

Finally a video on the best girl of the sternritters Giselle Gewelle and one of my favourites in general
Not gonna lie, after yumichika called gisselle out on bieng a man, immediately thought gisselle is just the prison b***h. Thousand years in isolation, that many people, and only four ladies.....giselle made five. The isolation also explains the psychotic behaviour of the sternritter after the second invasion and why they all seem to hate each other, spent to much time together. thanks for the vid, it's interesting to get the lore and missed subtleties of the characters.
I hope you make video about zombies captain and vice captain
Let's not forget the fact that Giselle was going to give zombie Bambi "that" which guessing by the fact Yumichika mentioning she/he stinked of semen and Giselle mentioning being wet when making Bambi a zombie is just nasty💀. No wonder it seems the other Quincy girls seem to have no problem with Giselle having her disgusting sexual deviance being pointed towards Bambi alone
"that" is blood. You're the only sexual deviant one here thinking that it's something else. Bambi needs enough blood to return to normal.
Its blood not his. Thing that bambi wanted cause blood is nesscecary for zombies to function. In first place although the pepole in charge decided to make it more dark trying to make it seem as if she wanted. His thing to give us a idea how dark and disgusting he really is
@@Random_user44 It's intentionally written to be a metaphor for semen. Sort of like how Vampire's feeding on humans are sometimes used to represent sex

Giselle is just a fun character. Comedic and sadistic while having a really cool power.
Giselle Gewelle one of my favorite Sternritters, its not often that i see a Necromancer Villain get so much attention from their artists, hell she even got a relatively happy ending and a Girlfriend.
I thought that the female sternritters were just at each others throats all of the time and don't trust each other because they're all very shifty towards each other
That ends up changing after Yhwach uses the Holy Selection, the light novels make it clear the Femritters are friends in the end cause they're all they have left post war
I'll be honest, Giselle, Quilge Opie, Driscoll, As Nodt, Bambietta, Candace, Gremmy, Pepe are one of the worst awful sternritters to serve under in my personal opinion, i hope there will be a character analysis video of Quilge Opie soon
What did candice do? 😭😭
She's very popular right
I can get behind the headcanon of Giselle’s backstory you came up with. I too think that Giselle’s parents abandoned her after finding out of her real gender and didn’t pay any attention to her whatsoever.
I can already see the anime only watchers out there and the people on Twitter are going to take one look at Giselle and say “God this girl’s out of her mind. I don’t think I like her.”
I’m no hater for Giselle, and I would be lying if I said that she’s my least favorite out of the Bambies.
And even though Kubo confirmed that she was a male, I’m still going to view her as a female.
Anyways, this made my day for the character analysis video on Giselle. And I’m really looking forward for the upcoming episode on Saturday since it’s a Candice, Meninas, Giselle and Liltotto centric episode as much as Ichigo’s return to the battlefield.
Actually that answer can interpretated as just her sex being male not being guy based on trivia back in manga days.

I wonder how Giselle got to the captains if Isane guarded them? (Lieutenant of Unohana).
Isane is surprisingly weak you know
The probability that she was turned as well is very very high
Man I'm surprised they haven't cancelled Yumachika..
Dawg went at it with Charlotte Cuhorn.. and then Giselle
Thank you for being respectful and informative about this character! Unfortunately I just got done watching simo uraharas video on her and I really wish I hadnt it was just full of transphobic comments and the comment section is probably worse. So again I just thank that you tackled this topic with a sense of maturity compared to some others in this community.
The Zombussy is so powerful it make you want to fight Soul Society.
Bruh....😶
So this is where the Schrift duality came from
Remember how Yumichika, the CLEARLY gay Shinigami can sense if you’re trans or not.
Nah, we don't use the word cute for other dude's. Kinda can't even call that a dude but it's definitely not a chick either so 🤷
Of course you can call a dude cute

This is the one character I wanted dead in TYBW. Kubo couldn't pick a cooler Sternritter to live? Anime onlys will know why I hate her with a passion
Picked a hard character to kill as the one you want dead. Cries about it. Like you asked for that
Why yall made that I hate Giselle? What's that got to do with you?
She is cool. You're сringе
Think I'll hold off until the next coming episode before asking anything.
Holy shit does that outfit look cozy
DBZimran: Analyzing Giselle as the amazing Bleach villain she is (as iconic, sadistic, horny, and stylish as my fave Szayelaporro honestly, and just as strong especially with her crowd control and high screentime), and how you feel about her gender identity is irrelevant to this topic
The comments: NO NO NO ITS A HE HE HE AND NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO LIKE VILLAINS
Anyways that aside, Id believe Giselle and Bambi were friends first but obviously Bambietta is not as nice towards her friends back and they grew apart the more Giselle liked her. Even though all the femritters are mean or sarcastic, i think the 4 besides Bambi get along much better.
iirc in cfyow it was said that it was simply the the threat of auswählen that they knew was coming that made them (and all the quincies really) at each other's throat. In cfyow they don't act like that towards each other
I was waiting for a new trap in anime, but idk if I want him.

Some would say necrophilia is the diversity and inclusion that progressive today truly seek. In death, every hole is a bonus hole.
my grandaddy used to say "son, in war, every hole is a trench." and I'm certain he is looking down at me right now from the heavens, with a smile on his face, knowing I'd be deep in that trench.

AKA Jizzelle 🤣🤣
I doubt it was intentional but it just makes me wonder if kubo named him that intentionally.
DBZimran handles this video very well. Respect to you man, its nice to not have a hateful idiot try to break down something they don't understand. Giselle is psychotic and a great villian. She is undeniably still trans.
For all the straight people that can't comprehend gay stuff, let me break it down for you.
Yumichika is a Gay Man
Ikkaku is a Masculine Gay Man
Charlotte is a Drag Queen
Giselle is a Trans Woman
Luppi is a cross dresser/femme( he is a little weird There's a troupe of Gay men being men that look and act like girls but are still men in Japan because Japan isn't exactly well versed in the diversity in gender expression and Gay community)
I personally think its hilarious that Mayuri/Yumi and Ikkaku are the ones that fight Giselle. It was like Kubos pride chapter lmao. Japan is a very dont ask dont tell but I will always respect Kubo for adding Gay people/Trans people to his story. Even if its not stated outright out of fear of backlash from the lesser minded.
O and
Soi Fon is a lesbian
Chizuru is a lesbian
That gross bount from the filler was a Lesbian
Yumichika is the narcissist ikemen stereotype like Vega from Street Fighter and those are typically straight. Even if they look gay to western viewers the trope of the guy that loves himself, his beauty and is always taking care of himself is closely related to straight men in Japan as that's the been the ideal standard for japanese men for a view decades, and Ikkaku and Yumichika hiding parts of themselves to the rest might be seen as a gay metaphor but it's more of a reference to their personal code of honor(other characters like Kira also have a code of honor that they take pride in even if it holds them back). Charlotte on the other hand is the typical gay stereotype in Japan, very macho and beefy but also "weird" since Japan can be very conservative.
Luppi is a reference to Dionysus who was effeminate but also closely related to violence and plants like Luppi's aspect of death and vines, so he's cis but his sexuality might not be gay as he flirts with Rangiku and implies to want to do criminal things to her.
The other canon gay characters you didn't bring up though are Tesla and Isane, as Kubo drew Tesla giving Nnoitora a valentine's day chocolate in a 2010 calendar and Kiyone says Isane feels for Unohana the same way she feels for Ukitake, and also blushes at her multiple times in the anime, manga and novels. There are also voice actors in Bleach that are gay so I'd consider their characters gay coded as well.
@@swordmaskedgirl in hindsight i thought about Isane lol.
You do add great points and accurate analysis on the characters. I am aware of the way masculinity is depicted and received in Japan and how its inverted. However, I use that to reinforce my point because kubo knows this and yet he only makes Yumichika the "metrosexual" almost all of the men in bleach are traditionally "western" masculine. Kubo has so many people that are obviously from around the world. He portrays tons of different character with darker skin, from different cultures and ethnicities so in my eyes him making Yumichika metro is more so a node to him being gay rather than the Japanese view on masculinity.
I also said luppi was femme/ cross dresser because the difference between sexuality and gender is usually completely disregarded in most media. Which stuns me that kubo is able to depict characters like Luppi who are obviously very feminine but still "straight"ish
Ikkaku and Yumichika being a couple is probably less obvious but imo the way they interact and care about each other transcends "good friends" its not like how Toshiro feels for Rangiku when she's injured, its more how he feels towards Momo if you catch my drift.
Charlotte was confirmed to be based off a drag queen im pretty sure and its my personal headcannon he was barragans queen lmao. Given his release is "Queen of Roses"
I didnt know about tesla tho, so thanks for the insight
@@swordmaskedgirl which voice actors for which characters?? Id love to know
@@SionnachuigimWhat’s you’re basis for saying Ikkaku is gay?
His character was such a mess😢😢.. His ability and personality was terrifying than others...
tbf Giselle might have learned the abusive relationship traits from Bambi especially from the scenes in the beginning of the arc, and now that Giselle zombiefied her it's like Bambi's personal hell for the way she treated other people, now Bambi's stuck being treated the way she treated others for eternity.
I'm so confused about Giselle.😭
He is literally a man. The creator said so.
Did the creator talked about sex or gender?
@@henriquemedranosilva7142He said he is a guy. You all can argue about it as much as you want but there is just one logical conclusion about straight up calling a character "a guy"
@@ontothemartin4684 I mean, the folk behind Steins:Gate also called Ruka "I feel like i was supposed to be a girl" Urushibara a "guy", yet "he" clearly shows signs of being trans. Sometimes an artist paints something that they didn't intend to and same goes for writers, there's a reason why "Death of the author" is such an important concept in literary critique. Giselle openly presents as female and shows discomfort when it's ignored, in any other context that would be seen as clear sign of being trans
Also correct me if i'm wrong, since i don't speak japanese, but the way it was presented to me was that the creator specified she's "biologically" a guy
@@ontothemartin4684Kubo only said the character is biologically male
This implies Giselle is a trans woman who transitioned male to female
@@hairlessgrizzly559 He never said he was biologically male. He said he is a guy. You all keep trying to convince everyone when it's clear as he'll that Kubo sees Giselle as a cross dresser man
