*In today's video I wanted to follow up last week's roster video and show off some of the new features and ideas that i'd included which I think would make a big improvement in WWE 2K22.* I know a lot of people dislike the amount of duplicate Superstars shown in the selection list, therefore this is one of the things i've tried to tackle by grouping duplicate Superstars together as one single selection. Let me know what you think of these ideas and if theres any you'd like to see make the game itself! 🙂

It's not because the stuff you see in this video was created by mods that alter what 2K has already created so WWE game fans can only create a small amount of stuff as a concept. Which is why they only show the menu screen & wrestler selection in concept videos & not actual gameplay that's different from the previous games.
The great thing about this alternate models idea is hopefully we’d finally get rid of the annoying numbers next to the names such as "Charlotte '19". Seeing these on the loading match card has always bothered me.

I mean, would you want all versions of Taker to just be called Undertaker with no distinction between the 30 years that he's wrestled (Western Mortician, The Phenom/Grim Reaper, Lord of Darkness, Ministry, American Bad Ass, Deadman Inc./Booger Red, Big Evil, Original Deadman, Last Outlaw & American Bad Ass Redux). Same goes for Triple H (Hunter Hearst Helmsley, being in DX & The Corporation, the introduction of "The Game", leading Evolution in '03-'04, reuniting DX in 2006 & 2009, cutting his hair in 2012/co-leading The Authority from '12-'14 & his current look with bushy beard & thin hairline). Ditto for Edge if we get variants of him this year (Attitude Era, Rated R & current Old Man look). Or really, anybody with several years under their waist. They need the years to separate the time periods between each version.

One thing they can take from the 2K16 creation suite is the way they handled selecting trunks or tights as well as previewing both the ring and entrance attire at the same time
It would be dope to have every wrestler with multiple attires instead of the same one all the time. Hopefully, 2k can give us frequent updates on the attire choices. We have so many multiple wrestlers and I hope they have them under one name on the selection screen.
I'd prefer this.. its something different and something new ... instead of the picture that doesn't have to much personality .. hoping they change the roster and menu to feel like a new game ..
WWE Live updates to overalls is a bad idea to me. Live updates for moves, attires & arenas are great but not overall cause I like to adjust overalls to my wants so I don't want to deal with the game changing overall tbh.
2k22 needs to do the simple things right before they try anything flashy , just get a simple game that works n we'll be happy , no locked content behind a paywall please
I kinda miss them having actual superstar fotos/cut out of the superstars as opposed to the in game render, idk to me it looked my slick and it gave it a more real feeling
Man the main thing I want is unique Match types like 1. Inferno 2. Ambulance 3 Stages of Hell 4. War Games 5. Special Referee 6. Lumber Jack 7. Cinematic Matches like the boneyard match If I just got a few of these I wouldn’t even care if they included GM mode or Custom Music
@@mr.chimney8284 2K should put roster brands back in exhibition mode like THQ did in the old SvR games but instead have RAW, SD, 205, NXT, & Free Agent as the options along with the option to change/edit the brands.
I think they should add the filtering option as it would be useful in certain situations but you are 100% right, the Alphabetical Sorting by hitting the shoulder buttons across all the menus that debuted in 2K16 is the best addition to the series menu wise. There's so many characters but if you know who you are picking you can pick them so fast compared to the old games. As long as we always have that we are good
How are you not working for 2k exclusively on ui and design. Heck, even game director. These are all so good. A license to print money with these ideas. Damn!
One thing I'd like for Universe Mode exclusively is a "shuffle button" for the match card that is randomly (I say randomly, but it's always the same people) set up for the event. It makes it much easier than to manually change all the matches and could maybe offer some interesting match-ups if the system were clever enough
You should add a general manager mode and for making custom wwe superstars you can change the hair and have FULL control of the custom matches if 2k did that it would be a MAJOR comeback and upgrade.
I really hope it's in the game along with the Championship Scramble match-(played this match so many times in SvR11), Multi Man Hardcore Championship time limit match-(look up the Hardcore Match that took place at WM16 to know what I'm talking about), & 10/20/30/40/50 man/women Royal Rumble matches,
They could figure out a way to edit a moveset or entrences for each specific attire. I'd even like for them to somehow combine all those creation options to one screen so you can create your superstar then their moveset, entrences, etc from one mode with no loading or backing out or saving until you're done, maybe with a quick save everytime you back out to go to a new creation area.
2k Modz and Scott Jay should both be hired by 2k honestly. What both are doing with the WWE games is amazing and a wonderful service for true wrestling fans.

I remember N64 WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy had the menu models move, taunt, and dance. 2K should bring with feature back to male the game more alive.
2K should bring back Tournament Mode from the SmackDown vs. Raw video games series into WWE 2K video games series so that way us players can create and hold a tournament for diffrent championship title belts, a King of the Ring, a Beat the Clock Sprint, a SmackDown vs. Raw, a NXT vs. NXT UK, a Road to WrestleMania, a Money in the Bank one as well and also they could add on the create list both Men's and Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classics, Mixed Match Challenge, Mae Young Classic, and Cruiserweight Classic with cutscenes of the winners holding the trophies.
To add on too this..if you play madden then you probably know that after you pick your team you can change the teams playbook to a different teams...so what if when you pick a wrestler it shows an option to switch the moveset and entrance on the wrestler selection screen?? For example you could select HHH and give him randy Orton's moveset or even an alternate version of his own...same with entrances

Great ideas, for the filter options id love to be able to filter on weight and title division. After setting up universe its difficult to remember who is going for what belts so i have to take a picture on my phone, so if we could filter on this that would be a great addition
Personally speaking, I would like to see a menu narrator that word read the characters selection screen and other menus to the player at loud this would help players with visual impairment or blindness navigate the game. I would also like to see the ability to filter between created and non-creative characters both online and off-line. Lastly I would like to see the option for simplified controls this will help players with motor disabilities be able to play the game as well.
On selection screen I like the ones where they're moving instead of just standing still. And when you click on them they should do a pose like I'm svr11.

Brilliant ideas. I love them. Stone Cold's Sonic-like "I'm waaaiting" idle animation would def be him pointing to his wrist as if he had a watch one.
We definitely need more ways to customize games. I need a buried alive match, casket match, and gauntlet matches. I remember old games having them!

In terms of menu screen animations, I was a big fan of the wwe svr 2011 screen where each character had a unique animation when selected
