Should always avoid using the old crystal gaskets. They are compressed and will not seal. I kinda felt bad for the case if I'm honest. 😢 Lost its color, and nice sharp edges along with the straight brushed ends. It could be refinished back to original shape and re-plated.

Yes, but replating cost was more than the watch itself.

I think I have the same watch from my dad, but the dial is loose.
I can't stop the disc from rotating around its axis.
