However I remember an episode of House, which I think you can apply here in someway. The way some people react to a teenage pregnancy and like abortion is a solution, rather than something that can have long lasting affects mentally on anyone. I won't say everyone I know that had abortion regretted it but I will say most of them did. Most of them that were young would also say they felt pressured by their parents, who to this day try and convince them it was their own decision. Now back to the House episode, when this mother comes into the clinic and tell House she thinks her daughter is epileptic. House exams her and tells the mother she's not, that her daughter who's maybe somewhere between 6 to 8 is masturbating. The mother is gobsmacked but also disgusted saying "This is horrifying" To which House replies simply "Epilepsy is horrifying. Teach your daughter about discretion and she'll be fine". Instead of thinking about an abortion immediately and thinking of it like a solution to a bad mistake. They should think about the mental trouble it can cause down the line. Also it seems people measure an unborn child like a financial and personal burden at best. So instead of acting horrified they should make their child feel when it comes time we will support you all the way. When you think of this was not that long ago and the way people reacted to Sarah having the baby and the way they treated her, Sarah kept a beautiful little girl and brought her into the world. Those that judged her marking her as a little tramp, who wouldn't have been for an abortion and opposed to life, over some sort of social stigma. Those people are truly awful.
