Alan I had the x550 in 2022 , the s514 sportline in 2023 and 6 weeks ago I picked my x650 . I have travelled across Europe and I’m in Budapest at present been here almost 3 weeks . The previous 2 vehicles I mention after awhile you feel like you need more space . This x650 so far still feels like a place I want to live in for longer , that how I feel so far anyway . Best all round vehicle I have had so far 😊
@@VanlifewithAlan no not at all , for me as one person 🧍♂️ it’s fine . I think the payoff of easy parking and easy driving narrow city streets or narrow country roads against a bit less living width inside is well worth it
@@VanlifewithAlan I don’t think it’s built really for anymore than one person to live longer term but that’s ok as I’m travelling solo or maybe it’s me that I wouldn’t want anyone in my smallish space other than me
Do Chausson make a 4x4 version of any of their Camper? Or indeed any of the other European/Italian manufacturers producea 4x4 off road version of any of their campers?
Chausson don't but there are a lot of off road models, including in Fiat and Citroen. Most are Mercedes or VW! Have a look at these for example (and on this channel there are over 100 of them....) ua-cam.com/video/WG2Aq5PXQek/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/78w4zUYzD24/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/D9iEF44jgdM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/pAMD9_Kgru8/v-deo.html
Best interior layout I've seen so far. Very cool model.

So jealous. The X650 is my choice if I was to do a big road trip.
You don't feel it is too narrow ?
