kingdom made me fall in love with btob. before that I only heard three songs (missing you, i'll be your man and beautiful pain) and knew a few members by name (peniel, eunkwang and sungjae, tho he's also an actor so I saw him in dramas before) and I liked what I heard and saw but never dived deeper until 2021. please watch more of their stuff, you wont' regret it I promise! they've been in the business for over 10 years now so there's a lot for you to check out ;)

The 4 there are Eunkwang (Leader/My Bias and the one you kept mentioning the tats in black), Changsub (first one singing before Minhyuk), Minhyuk and Peniel (He's American BTW) is the one with the shaved head. This is their sub-unit BTOB 4U the other members of the main group were enlisted when they did Kingdom.
When you said that you knew of Minhyuk (HUTA) ... all I could think was "oh.. just you wait..." And you did not disappoint in your reactions at every moment he showed up half to fully topless. 😁 And Eunkwang's voice (silver light as he's called) is at another level... for me, he's a top tier vocalist.. who delivers every time 😍

Some more info about the show. The first one was "Queendom" (season 1), where a few well-known girl groups competed with each other for the crown and the title of Queens. Then "Road to Kingdom" happened, where not as popular boy groups competed for a chance to go to "Kingdom". "Kingdom" was a show with the same concept as "Queendom" - well-known boy groups (+the winning group from "Road to Kingdom") competed with each other for the crown and the title of Kings. Now we also had "Queendom" season 2 this year, again with girls. During these shows the contestants (groups/soloists) are doing various missions and after every mission there are scores. The highest accumulated score at the end of the show wins. The winning team/solo act gets to film special variety show, sponsored and produced by the Kingdom/Queendom production. The missions vary, from doing their own songs or switching songs with different team on the show, to choosing some classic/popular songs from other artists - one of my favorite missions was during "Road to Kingdom", when groups had to choose one king of kpop and remake the song by that king. Also, the most fun thing is that near the end of the show, the members of different groups on the show are mixed together and perform with each other! Those collaborations are historical, really. You won't see that anywhere else. These shows are quite amazing, because you get to see impressive performances and cute interactions between artists. The minus is that there are rankings and scores, so at the end of the episode someone is "the worst" (even though they are all phenomenal!!) and I HATE seeing these artists disappointed and discouraged.. BTOB is primarily known for their songs, emotionally resonant songs: It’s Okay, Beautiful Pain, Missing You, The Song, and I’ll Be Your Man. However, nearly every song has a least three rap parts because there are three rappers: Ilhoon, Minhyuk, and Peniel. In addition to the rappers, there are four vocalists: Eunkwang, Changsub, Hyunsik, and Sungjae. Each one has their own charms and can deliver a powerful, heartfelt performance. I encourage you to keep checking out BTOB. Their Kingdom performance of “Blue Moon” is amazing. 😊 Finally, Minhyuk isn’t scary all the time. 😂 That’s just one of his personas. The 4 who were on Kingdom: Seo Eunkwang (Nov 22, 1990) - main vocal, leader, does all of those super high notes (which no lie, I um... I side eye that lyric of Minhyuk's. ANYWAY. dude can actually hit operatic soprano.) and no tattoos (yet) Lee Minhyuk (Nov 29, 1990) - main rapper (bc he likes to rap, not that he can't sing - he does a wild amount of harmonies and singing in the songs), and is most likely to be stripping. Also no tattoos (yet) Lee Changsub (Feb 26, 1991) - lead vocal, the guy that does all the funny expressions, hidden rock vocals of the group, was sick af during this performance (not covid, he just overworked himself) and unlike everyone else - those tattoos are real. Man has the largest tats in the group, that one that goes along his forearm, he has one right over his heart with a clock at 3:21 (BTOB's debut date) with 'Be the Change' and another one on his right shoulder. (Is also very soft for babies and kids.) Peniel Shin (Mar 10, 1993) - lead rapper, main dancer (via roulette wheel), professional translator of 'BTOB' into English, from Chicago, called the shoulder gangster bc man is a WALL. Most of BTOB uses his shoulders as a pillow. Changsub loves the bald head (Peniel is the icon of stress-induced hair loss) and is most likely sad that Peniel's been growing his hair back out now. (kidding.)
