2:00 it does work with longsword and other weapons, but in a different way. It allows you to skip the first attack in the pattern and go straight to the 2nd one.. really good for bardiche I believe it is cause the fast thrust on the 2nd attack

skinny pete torch tech is fire cause it works with weapons too :3
as you hold right click to throw the torch you also hold left click, then after you throw the torch you keep left click held down, then you switch to you longsword or any weapon and when you attack it preforms the second swing.
Lol I've been asking Katie to do this with flute ever since she figured out the torch tech. She still won't. You're just better now by default.

This works with weapons too. It just skips the first attack. Really good with bardiche to get an instant poke. You also dont have to hold down left click, just let go and itll be ready to go. Just dont pick up the torch cause itll cancel it.
Also Skinny Pete is the OG finder of this bug.

Dimo did similar tech with the torch/bardiche where if you did the same thing, the first attack would be the stab (2nd attack) first, I wonder if it’s a bug
it's kind of like an attack cancel mechanic and I guess it works with the flute due to the way the sequence is structured

I mean it’s funny to do on a lock, but shouldn’t it be insanely better on bard? Blow of corruption does like a lil magic damage, but does not compare to 50% from reinforced and the movespeed from dancing feet AND weakness.

not for the riposte, but this works with weapons, including longsword, to skip the first attack animation and go straight to the second. Good for halberd, for example, for that poke
