Oh, it's so difficult to know how to dress when you head out for the day. It appears some passengers really like their clothes to have that outdoorsy-fresh odor, lol! 🚢------🧦------👖-----🩲-----🩳-----👕 🙄😀
We love Lisbon. But haven't been for ages! We're so sorry it wasn't a perfect day! We've never done a hoho bus before. Maybe we won't!! Our advice is to go back to Lisbon for a 3 night city break!!! Cheers 🍻
What a beautiful city! I hope you made up for the loss of body weight in that heat when you got back to your ship. That called for some sort of special food intake! Thank you for taking us along w/you...that was a very hot day for you. I loved the jellyfish. I saw more marine life in this video than during my entire cruise to Alaska, lol!😊Happy travels.🛳🌍🌊
We had ice cream. Tony wanted a milkshake from Johnny Rockets… until we read that each milkshake (and they aren’t big) was 1200 CALORIES!!! We don’t calorie count, but that was too much with everything else we were eating. So free ice cream from the poolside was enough!

I will be in Lisbon on a cruise stop in November, and had decided with so much near the port, I will just book a walking tour of that area (and start planning my next trip when I can stay longer)! I hope your ice cream revived you both!
What a shame the tour wasn’t great, Lisbon looks amazing but a big place to see on a hot day. We’ve done a lot of Hop On bus tours and it’s a mixed bag. We tend to find the best way is to stay on the bus for the whole circuit to see the most but on a hot day and in traffic it’s not always great. You do miss out on spending time at the places of interest, so it’s a trade off. We once did an entire loop of Malta frazzling on the top deck without any drinks and we’ve sat in a massive traffic jam in Helsinki and saw nothing only to find we could have walked it all in less time 😂 Barcelona is probably the best one we have done.
Went to Lisbon last yr summe half term. I wonder if you caught the loop that went the other way so went back on yourself?? We did the green line up to Belem and that wasnt great experience coz of traffic and heat! Other than that, absolutely loved lisbon apart from the hills!

It is SUCH a gorgeous city, and we really hoped we’d see more of it. We will 100% go back at the next possible opportunity!!!
When we were in Lisbon, we hired a tuk-tuk driver for a half day and it was pretty reasonable 175 euro or so.
We saw those! Wish we had done that.. wasn’t much more expensive than the bus! Did he/she wait for you whenever you wanted to stop?
@@TravellingWithTeens Yes, he took us on a city tour and pointed stuff out. Also stopped anywhere we wanted for photos or a coffee!
