I enjoyed listening to this story. I was frustrated, but that was the point. It's stressful to be investigated for a crime, and it is frustrating when investigators insist on circumstantial evidence being definitive. The story did a good job of creating an tense and suspicious atmosphere like would have existed in the middle of the cold war and HUAC.
I’m halfway through and it’s driving me to screaming point. The woman committed suicide, she rang him and he answered so what the heck are the police accusing him of?
You should consider not showing the comments unless you click on them. Someone always gives the plot away and it makes you less inclined to watch the video.
Agree!!! I do like to see a few comments before listening & when someone is thoughtless enough to give away the ending, it drives me up the wall crazy, glad I'm not the only one 😊
Hello! I’ve looked into this, and unfortunately, it doesn’t seem possible on UA-cam. My two options are either disabling the comments or adding a spoiler warning in the comments section. I’ll add a warning in my next videos to let viewers know they might encounter spoilers if they read the comments. Have a great day!
@NocturnalTalesPodcast If your watching on your phone the comments scroll directly under the videos. You can't help but see them. I wonder how the other channels manage to not show them unless you click on them? It's a shame really because I know I'm not the only person who passes on the video because commenters ruin it for those who haven't seen the video yet. Comments help the algorithm but can also cause people to skip the video, missing out on shares and likes. Maybe you can highlight a comment that doesn't give away the plot. Some people do that. Good luck on your channel. I really like your content but would rather you tell the tale without the ending already being disclosed before it starts.
This could have been a good story But made zero sense Phone calls can be traced and if the killer was calling James than the police would trace that call Also why was the cop only after him and not checking into anyone else and how could he kill her if he was on the phone picking up the call (??) again this could be traced -I m getting the feeling the writer did not know where to go with this story and was creating drama without substance I also write for a living and I agree its hard to keep suspense when creating a story but at the same time the story must make sense (even if it is a fantasy) Dots do have to connect or the reader is left with a feeling of irritation!!
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to share your opinion. Based on some of the feedback, I’m guessing a few people didn’t catch that the story is set in the 1950s, where suspicion would naturally play a big role in investigations-especially if the inspectors felt James was hiding something.
@@lisamac8503 yep funny how that man was being investigated for someone who committed suicide and actually called him just before taking of their own life

Interesting story. I enjoyed it despite the flaws in the story
😂😂😂😂😂
I don't know how old you are, but you must not be very old that you didn't know they didn't have those amenities in the 1950s! ❤
Sounds like AI narration! Not very enjoyable.
Wasted 48 minutes of my life listening to this, all the while asking why James didn't get a lawyer. Silly story.
Bad story. Kept repeating the same psychological stuff. Too many adjectives.
Thank you so much for listening and for your thoughtful feedback. Have a wonderful day.
This story was very boring
Wow
Thank you very much for your feedback. Wishing you happy holidays!
Thank you ❤
