EDIT: Can confirm, Sanji can hurt Yamato. Good on him for supporting Trans rights in this sense, especially considering how hellish his time skip training was to him, but really strange considering how he perceives them in the bath house scene after the Onigashima battle ends. I’ve been going through Treasure Log on a fresh new file with the DLC, and I did the final Grand Line map with Yamato, so watching them take down Kaido, Big Mom, and Teach, especially with the more cinematic special (Divine Swiftness White Serpent), really cool (though Teach was a lot more stubborn than I remember him being. Just would not go down despite being on that last sliver of health). I haven’t even unlocked their Hybrid form change yet seeing how it’s a new file and all. I should take them to the first East Blue map and see if Sanji can hurt them (can’t hurt Okiku as they’re Trans). The moveset description uses he/him, but I’m fairly certain Sanji views Yamato as a woman based on when they join the guys in their bath.
Yamato isnt trans. In history lords that didnt have a son often had their daughters pose as men to keep a family reputation high. Yamato is playing the part of the son on her own accord. she is still a woman and doesnt hide the fact.
