Hi Leah, if I want to integrate printify with a shopify store, is there a particular shopify theme you would recommend when I'm building the store? Specifically as it relates to themes with color swatches. Some themes with swatches cost $180 & up and others cost $360+. Which one is better to fully take advantage of all the T-colors printify has to offer? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.
Hey Trevor! As there are tons of themes to choose from and everyone's niche and style are vastly different, it's tough to give specific recommendations. We've seen success in stores that use free and paid themes. We suggest choosing a theme that fits your brand style and voice. Check out our latest webinars where Joe Robert gives expert tips about Shopify www.youtube.com/@Printify/streams and maybe this video will be helpful ua-cam.com/video/Wf8Vv6ZGQ3E/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Printify where one of our Shopify experts shares some great tips with examples!
If I start with a Printify pop-up store, can I later change it to integrate with some other platform like a square space website with just my shop domain name?
Which E-commerce platform has the best supporting mobile application for uploading products via smart phone? We work on the road purchasing one of a kind "antique" products and need to list them via anywhere. I have not found any videos with this important info. What do you recommend ? Can you help?
Hi there! It depends on whether you plan to sell on a marketplace or through your own store page. For marketplaces places Etsy is a good place to start. As for standalone stores, Shopify has plenty of direct and third party apps you can use to customise how your store works, including how you add products. This might be a better option for you but it depends on what your needs are and where you want to sell.
@@Printify Hello thank you for taking the time to reply. I defiantly want a standalone site but also sell on market places like Etsy. I want to be able to upload products from my "smart phone" that will simultaneously upload to my site and Etsy. Since my products are one of a kinds I am constantly uploading and do not want to have to do that more than once for each market place. So it sounds like you are saying a good place to start is Shopify?
I live in Japan and as far as I know, people living in Japan are not allowed to sell on Etsy because of the payment system that is not in line with Etsy. Have there been any improvements made recently? I am a member of Printify. Is there a way around it? PLease reply. Thanks
Hi Julian, Unfortunately, that's a limitation on Etsy's side. Alternatively, you could try a different marketplace like eBay, or a standalone platform like Shopify.
@Printify I have a question... I have this unisex cut&sew tee product.. I designed two of them and Both of them are showing in ( my products ) page that all are in stock.. but in my pop-up store it shows all out of stock... So if someone tried to buy it he can't cuz he can't even click on this ( add to cart).. so what's going on
Hi Leah, Thank you for your video. I am currently a Printify subscriber. I had also an account with Printify and Etsy. However, my Etsy shop was permanently suspended when intergrating with Printify. I'm living in Vietnam. Could you give me some advices about the different platforms to be available to sell in Southeast Asia?
Hi Linh, We're sorry your shop was suspended. Unfortunately, this isn't an uncommon problem and is a bit of a limitation when it comes to opening an Etsy shop. Sometimes new sellers get marked as fraudulent for a couple reasons: - you haven't added Printify as your production partnerhelp.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4578966175505-What-should-I-do-if-my-Etsy-store-is-suspended- - you've published a lot of products within a short amount of time I recommend reaching out to Etsy support about your suspended shop first. If you're interested in selling on a marketplace specifically, we also integrate with eBay and Walmart. You can find all of the platforms that Printify integrates with here printify.com/integrations/ as well as some in-depth guides. I hope this helps, but let me know if you have more questions! 🙂 -Leah

Hi Leah, Thanks for the great videos. I am looking for a good ecommerce platform to sell my designed products. I am Currently a Printify subscriber and I have created a few designs via Canva and uploaded to Printify. I had an account with Etsy but it was permanently suspended with no specific reason. I wrote emails to clarify what the problem was but they just said the same things. They claim I violated Etsy's "Term Of Use". Many things can factor in this statement but they would not tell me specifically what the infraction was. I know its not infringement because Canva states that I am allowed to use its designs for commercial use as long as their not stand alone. None of my designs are stand alone. As for the content, my design content is no different than the type that is currently being sold on Etsy right now. I am now afraid to sign on with another platform in fear of being banned again. I would like your opinion on a good market place platform that I can grow my business that has good seller support and makes it clear what is not allowed to be sold so I never have to second guess if I can sell something. I don't mind paying for a subscription as long as the platform is very transparent and values its sellers. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks Again Leah. All The Best!
Hi, Ron! We’re glad you enjoy the videos. :) Yes, Etsy doesn’t always provide explanations when a store is banned, which, unfortunately, is out of our control. We can suggest that you double check a couple things: 1. That your designs in Canva are actually available for sale. This can often be missed. 2. Your Etsy store. Perhaps a product has been mentioned as fan art, inspired by a celebrity, a TV show, or the product titles or descriptions mention trademarked names, curse words, or similar. As for other platforms, we offer many different integrations: eBay, Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, Squarespace, etc. Opening a store with any of these has the benefits of having a custom website and you can market them better on social media. We have many successful Shopify merchants, as Shopify integrates with many third party platforms, which helps them expand their store.
@@Printify Hi Leah, Thank You so much for getting back to me with that information. My designs are very clean and I don't believe I'm infringing on any copyright or trademark cause I use about two or three different elements and fonts to differentiate as much as possible. If your saying that a single element or font can be the cause of infringement even though its mixed with other elements than I guess that could be possible. I will check with Canva to verify that. Those other platforms you mention would be good but you would need your own web page and figure a way to drive traffic there or pay a lot for ads. I'm looking for a platform that has all that built in. Anyway, I really appreciate your advise and please feel free to let me know of any important information if you can. Thanks Leah. All The Best !
