When recess all of a sudden started showing up in my suggestions I started watching random episode looking for this one specifically. Out of all the episodes I remembered watching as a kid, this one stood out the most because of the voice. Finally after 20 episodes or so, I finally found it and it was worth it.

This is the first time I heard “nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen”. It stuck with me and I forgot the name of it for years. Once I remembered it, I looked up the history behind that song. It’s so dark and tragic and I love every note.
I do think it’s iffy that the writers picked this song though. However, I’m glad I was introduced to it.
