Day Trip through Austin, Texas Hill Country

In this video I drove through the beautiful Austin Hill Country on a pleasant Saturday with family and made a stop along the way at Red Bud Isle Park. There's also bonus footage of a gorgeous sunset at Brushy Creek Lake Park in Cedar Park, TX that I filmed on another day.

I've only been right outside of it when I was walking on the Ann and Roy Butler Trail but haven't been inside since there was an entrance fee.

Buying a home in the area soon. Was looking at San Antonio hills which are phenomenal but, living in Austin has better amenities.

I totally agree with you! I love the west side of San Antonio - La Cantera/Boerne area but you get all that with Austin and even more as well as the amenities and jobs. I'm currently living in San Antonio but am looking at moving to Austin especially since my job is there.
