Fieldsports Britain - Red Rut Fight Sequence
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 вер 2024
- We put a camera on red stag's head so it can record the rut. It does magnificently - fighting other stags, drinking, fraying - but can we retrieve the camera? Plus we go stalking on the Ardnamurchan estate in Scotland with Niall Rowantree, who talks us through the rut. He has a guest, Alkhas Khametov, and they are after a poor quality stag in order to improve the herd. It is the third chapter in our series A Year in the Life of Red Deer.
That's not all. Back in the South of England, The Beating Line has a tricky question to answer: does blaze orange have a place on British shoots? News and Hunting UA-cam complete this episode of #FieldsportsBritain

Always enjoy listening to Niall. Brilliant segment, certainly knows his job/passion. Happy new year to you all at fieldsport.
This mini highlands series has been absolutely brilliant! I’d give anything to go up and stalk with Neil on the hills. Keep up the good work lads.

Hi there,
Another 4 great of outdoor videos, a great pleasure to watch, the footage from the camera was awesome, thumbs up and best regards to all, from the kiwi hunter down under, Tony.
+waikarimoana Hi Tony - you've got to try this Stagcam idea in NZ. / Charlie
Hahahaha, we have tried it on pig dogs for pig hunting and we got good amount of footage, but we can not get the camera on our big Reds.
One of our tribal land is thousand of hectares of land and mostly thick bush, and can not afford to lose a camera, hahahah.
Hey Charlie, perhaps if you find your way to New Zealand one day, we will take you for hunt and you see our Reds, last year we harvested 4 trophy stags ranging from 384 to 411 SCI scoring points.
I always enjoy watching your videos, greatly appreciate to see your part of the world, i harvested a Red stag in Scotland when i was in UK over 45 years ago.
You have a great day, thanks for the reply, best regards to all, Tony.
Fantastic guys loved all the three episodes. Who'd of thought it eagle cam deer camp what's going to be next ? Do hope you'll be doing lots more this year with Neil as that does know his stuff. Happy New year to all the team
To find that camera I take my hat off to that man!!!
great show as usual guys ,, Happy New Year to you all ,,
Will the show be doing anything on larsen trapping this spring? It's an important job that would be interesting to see how others do it and various estates etc. Also help promote the control of magpies in villages and towns etc. It's time the show got back to its grass roots!
👍🏻
i'v watched a lot of pigeon shooting and just wondered what they do with all the pigeons they shot
+Anthony Smith Eat them + sell them.
Why do the hunt sabs hide their faces?
kevvyboy63 because there dicks 👍 they just go out to start an argument and cry to the police when they get a slap. You saw people like that in town they would be arrested, they are terrorists who need to go on general licence with no closed period :)
