I like it. I like to listen to decluttering videos while I am decluttering. It gives me JIT tips and keeps me motivated. This video helped me declutter for nine minutes.

this video couldn't have come at a better time. I am trying to get my house de-cluttered and in some type of order. I just found your channel and really love some of these tips, especially the one about organic decluttering.

    Loving PROJECT v TASK

These ideas - especially the decluttering of a group of items - made me want to bonk my forehead, look up and say "Why didn't I think of that??" But, kudos to me, I'm right there with you on project vs. task. I've even broken each project (room, in my case) into zones, and then tasks. Much more reasonable.
Thank you for the - as always - logical "why" behind what you present, as well as the calm but fun presentation. You're a joy to listen to. As we say in the South - I 'preciate ya.

Sometimes the answer can be right there in front of us and we don't see it-- it's ok, we're all human and I do it too sometimes 😅
Sounds like you have a plan of attack now and all that's left is to execute!

With streaming services, it’s been a long time since I’ve had to wait each week for a favorite tv show to come on (it was Northern Exposure!) Now I’m waiting for your content on Tuesdays!

Yes to taking out the trash on a regular basis! Not even in context of a big decluttering project, but on a day to day basis. Make it a priority to take out the trash more often and use big trash cans, especially for paper. Where I live there is a saying that goes along the lines of: "The secret to a tidy office is a big trash can for paper." It's easier to throw something away when the trash can isn't overflowing.
Taking out the trash is one of the easiest ways to have a constant flow of stuff leaving your house.
I just took out the trash before watching this video 😄

I really appreciate your content. Advice on how to do any of this with a very active, very curious toddler around? I feel like my home has gone completely to hell since we had a second child, and my second is a little tornado. I feel like she sucks all the energy from me, so my house just gets progressively worse and worse.

Thanks for your question! It sure can be tricky when our babies start walking... Chloe is about 10 months old now and we're not quite at that stage yet...
Is there a way that you could make the experience fun or like a game? Make it a special bonding activity for the two of you?
