Man was that souced in India? It looks like it sat in the jungle for some time. Glad to see your getting her back on the road. Can't wait to see the progress. Carry on.
Ok, how many of the pieces needed do you already have? Will say not the worst starting point I have seen, but I am sure it would be out of my capabilities to get it back on the road. Thank You for sharing.
You’ll have to watch the next one to find out! 😃, no i already have most of the missing parts but I wasn’t expecting the engine to be as bad as it was so iv had to change my initial plans for that … and spend some money 😕
I’ve had sports Superbikes last 20 years sick of dodging cops speed cameras ans last few years been spending ages looking at scooters now after watch your channel especially these episodes I’m planning on joining the clan so time to do maths whether to buy a basket case and rebuild like this series or buy a ready done one . What’s your opinion sir
This was more like mass destruction than disassembly. Why destroy the wiring harness and cables unless you have an A to Z inventory of rare spare parts? In this condition, a real restoration would take months, otherwise you would just be cobbling together a Frankenbike with mostly non-original parts. I guess with a three week deadline that's all you can do. But I must admit you've got me hooked. Waiting (patiently) for the next installment.
The cables were all rotted thru and totally unusable!… totally… I’v kept the wiring loom- what you see me snapping is the stator wires.. the loom is remaining… it’s not a restoration though I’m just saving it and giving it a new life.. just replacing the bits that are worn/broken and putting it back on the road to ride safely to Belgium and back (hopefully!!! ) the rally is on the bank holiday so I have 5 days left before I leave now… hopefully first start on Monday…. 😬😬
Well it’s obvious that in that condition NO however if it’s completely rebuilt then obviously again it’s not the same scooter 🛵 we see in the photo 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@jimeverhard3647 wtf of course it’s the same scooter… and engine… just with wheels and hubs added (obviously you can’t ride it without wheels!) and some essentials replaced- ie steering bearings, piston and barrel/ exhaust etc… only the essentials were replaced so it could be ridden-the body/forks and engine casing/gearbox/chaincase/kickstart/etc etc are all original…, I don’t get what you mean it’s not the same scooter?
Well you can’t please anyone music wise… it’s not my first choice… but you can’t have the best music on your videos because of copyright… and it’s certainly better than hearing speeded up drill and machine noises?… 70,000 people have watch this 4 part series so far so it can’t be that irritating to everyone?
@@teampacemaker hi mate I watched the full two videos on the lamberetta refurb it was a hypnotic mesmerising video congrats to your immense skills and interesting you kept the original paint job reminded me of the film Zabeinsky Point
Mark any chance of a links for the top end stator and flywheel .Big parts basically. I'm doing a 1960 125 engine li . Andcwant a little turn of pace and keep costs down. So I noticed you say lightened Indian flywheel. (I was thinking Uni kit. ) but maybe that's wrong? Help thanks mate cheers

Good luck 👍🏻
Like the front dampers, are they BGM?
Yes mate… i would have preferred black ones but I’d already got these ones for another project
Mate... when someone suggested you need a challenge, they probably meant “climb Everest” or “row the atlantic”! Do-able stuff 🤣🤣🤣
😂

Good stuff we need more of this not £10.000 engines and 6.000 paint jobs affordable scootering.😂
Wow, thought mine was a shitbox, but apparently not compared to this!
Haha thanks!…. 🤔

Bit of wd40 here and there
Fresh petrol and a wipe over with a cloth and she will be good to go 😂😂
A bit of isopon 38 and that air box will be good as new...😐🤣🤣🤣
Ha!, Airboxes are for mods anyway… we don’t need airboxes where we are going…
