Jill, thank you so much for sharing this "jammed packed full of information" video with us. I always learn so much from your videos--including all your personal hints about places where "goof ups" happen--we all know they happen and it lifts my spirits when you are willing to help us with ours. My biggest stumbles begin with the beginning of a peyote piece--sometimes it takes me longer to start a piece (seems like I don't ever have enough fingers to hold onto those first beads and thread) than it does to work and finish it!! I can't wait for my kits to arrive.
Was wondering if you put the project together first, but it looks like you finish off the carrier beads first. That's really cool! Thanks for experimenting for us and coming up with the best way. Xx
i went ahead and got the blackberry bracelet and necklace, i just love watching your videos, i learn so much from you. i have only been doing this for about 8 months and you make it fun thank you
Wow! Perfect timing for me. My supplier here in France *finally* got carrier beads in stock after I requested them (so far, only the plastic ones, but it's a start). Thank you, Jill!! Bisous (kisses) from France.
Oh my Goodness ! 2018 and that was the year where my MS disease stop me for doing bead weaving Jewels as i have tons of your Fabulous kits to build snifff right! could you just for a second bneing on my shoesand imagine how i'm feeling at ther end of 2023 where i've just spend 2 full weeks with you watch your fantastic tutorials and take some notes of the great advices you gave + the kits who didn't existed anymore snifff! + materials ya! the supplies you know these ( wire Guardian ) which i discover just before shopping on 2018 so anyway i would like to thank you but a really special ones because you are the only ones who sell the supplies to beaders who live to Canada for a little amount which you are LIFE SAVER TO ME Jill & your lovely Mom of corse . Love this tutorial. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing. If you don’t mind, where can I buy some of those glasses? Do you really like them? ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Thank you, Jill for this extremely informative video. I use the Loctite Super Glue Gel, so I'll be sure to get the regular super glue. It's great stuff. Thanks again.
Hi Jill. I'm new to UA-cam & just now saw your video on carrier beads from 2 years ago. Are the kits still available for the 15 designs on the beads? Thank you
jill.... how do you keep the beading tight on the carrier bead.... I thought i did mine tight, no excess, but yet it wants to slide off. some have told me, glue, doublesided sticky web.... and on spoilt rotten beads, she took thread and attached top and bottom of carrier bead to the peyote.... Please Help.....Thanks barbara
Jill I have been closing mine in the center on the back side of the carrier bead. Do you feel that closing them at the end of the bead is easier? A lot of the patterns end with equal ends so they come together in the center back so I'm a tad confused. Can we also post the ones we do on the acrylic carrier beads or do you just want those made with the glass beads?
Silly question... is there some reason not to do a single ladder stitch instead of the X or the modified brick stitch on the odd count peyote? Love your videos, I've learned a lot from them, passing on a tip I learned elsewhere...
Well, the only problem with that is your thread ends up coming out the wrong direction. You still have to turn your thread around so it's going back towards the row - not the outside edge.
Hi Jill, I have encountered a bit of a problem, I can't source the glass beads here in the uk so am having to use the platics ones and am finding that the 48 rows is not quite long enough. I tried to pull the ends together but either the thread snapped or the edge bead broke. Is anyone else having this problem? Denise
Hi Jill, you mentioned your new craft optic glasses what is the magnification on them? And can anyone buy a pair , through you if not can you tell us where we the blind public as in I can get them?
As a matter of fact, I did a whole video about the Craftoptic glasses that will be released in a few weeks. But in the meantime, you can find out more at craftoptics.com - and if you order, use the code Jill60 - it gets you $60 off the glasses and light set, PLUS a $50 credit at my online site. :-)
Could you not also attach the peyote strip to the carrier bead by running the thread thru a row of peyote and thru the hole of the carrier bead? I also would love to know the pattern of your bracelet!
@@elizabethjohnson1976 Just seeing your note. Here's a link to the PDF jillwisemandesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Odd-Count-2-Color-Peyote-Strip-Patterns-for-Carrier-Beads-JWD.pdf
Es muy lindo lo que haces, pero hablas demasiado, y es insoportable escucharte, hay muchos tutoriales que trabajan más y hablan menos. Felicitaciones por tú trabajo.
I am looking for equal sized beads and not sure where or which ones to buy. I am currently using size 8 seed beads and they are so uneven. Please advise? Thank you 😊

Beautiful design and great instructions to make it so doable. Thanks!
I just love when you say sticky outy :)
Jenny Eriksson It's her trademark comment. If I hear anyone say sticky outy I automatically think of Jill.
Thank you for such an incredibly thorough video!

What are the cons for just using ladder stitch for the odd-count turnaround?

could not find the patterns only the kits. Are the patterns not available?
I love your tutorials, they are so helpful and inspiring. Where did you get your glasses?
Craftoptics
Do you or will you have any patterns that don't completely cover the glass carriers so as not to cover them all up? Thanks for all you do for us!!
Not yet - but I will!
Would love to try this !!!

Where do I find patterns for just the covers?
Where u getting this glasses for seeing the better
Have you tried Scor-Tape double-sided tape by Scor-Pal? I have it in my toolkit from 3mm up to 25mm wide. (this paper crafters best friend:)
How do I just get the patterns I have everything else.

Cause you are forcing it too much and the pressure causes the bead to snap.

excellent you are the bomb....love your vids...Thanks
We maillers love vertical clasp.
This is so fun!!! Can't wait to get started... Off topic...Will you be making anymore PWAT videos? You are the best teacher!
Could you not also attach the peyote strip to the carrier bead by running the thread thru a row of peyote and thru the hole of the carrier bead? I also would love to know the pattern of your bracelet!
Marilyn Owen I stitch through the hole, it works fine🤗
You absolutely could! I meant to show that and forgot!!
I didn’t receive any patterns with my kit Jill where can I find them
It’s ok I have found them
Jill- Can you use regular 11/0 seed beads for this?
in the video she says you can with the czech pillows
Yes, but the row count is different. Try it but don't zip it until you've fitted it on the bead
I've seen others do it, but haven't tried it myself. You'll probably have to adjust the number of rows.
Cara Jil i tuoi video sono molto belli ma potresti mettere una traduzione in italiano? Grazie e complimenti.
i have a Question, can i buy just the pattern, or do i have to get the kit
Patterns are free! You can find them at jillwisemandesigns/patterns

I almost always use 6lb Fireline.

The most even beads would be the cze beads or miyuki beads.
