So many great things in one video, the holding hands shadows at the very beginning, the friendships shining through the conversations, a beautiful park, an extended bit from the café and such a dedicated team... Despite the struggle about events taking place right now also present in it and maybe even because of that, this got to be one of your best vlogs so far. Thank you for that one!
Another fantastic video well done. Huge credit to the volunteer team as well, that is a huge number of runners to manage in just your 3rd event. 10/10 :)
Really looking forward to visiting in a few weeks time and knowing there are loos near the start is something I need to know :-) Looks like a great event.
To be fair, Steve was smiling with a “would I lie to you?” politician’s smile, and not quite a scarecrow’s 😀 I’ve been to many parkruns where I’ve not been able to hearing the brief. They should do like another parkrun I’ve been to, and get paddles with “Quiet” on them for the volunteers to hold up during the briefing - they seem to work.
Reminds me a lot of Cannon Hill in many ways, and they regularly have over 800 runners. It was a lovely day and you've shown the park (parks? I don't get the pluralisation) off really well.
Danny: ..... monologue about whether the event will cope with higher turnouts. Danny to Amy Rose: are you gonna cope when it gets bigger each week? Amy Rose: Yeah, easy! 🤣

On my list! Went to Oxford Brookes university so had many happy years in Oxford! Glad to see another parkrun there. Well done to AmyRose!
@amyrose: Superb attention to detail. Matching buckets and volunteers. Well played!
I love this parkrun - I was there at the start taking photos and can't wait to run it. Great video thank you for sharing.
Cheers B!

Thank you Paul!
I'm not sure why, but I imagined the park to look a lot different to this. I liked the swifts home. Thanks for the vlog.
Thanks for another great vlog. Lovely location and looks like a great course.
Thanks Allen!
The Town and Gown 10k race in Oxford finishes with a couple of kms in this park
That looks absolutely beautiful!

Oh and we regularly have more than 500 at WHM and we're a 3 lapper 🙃
@@NicolaRuns true but grew over time to that. This is a sudden influx. They’ll be fine of course.
And Tolkien themed too!

They made a few tweaks this week just gone, I was near the back and heard all of it.
Enjoyed the video Danny. Thank you
Thank you!

Good comparison!
Pleasure to have seen you and Toothless in that vid. 💛

Oxford Uni is older than Cambridge, by about 100 years (and is the oldest university in the English-speaking world)
