Samuel, it’s always a delight to view your videos. Your sense of humour coupled with some great images are always something I look forward to. B&W is the way to go! Thank you and keep up the great work.
enjoyable video... really appreciate the B&W stills... glad to see you featuring the Nikon Zf. I have settled on it for my only camera so I can concentrate on getting interesting images.
Fun times -- great photos, what more ! I just bought a Nikon Z5 + 40mm f2 -- so far- so good. Still liking the Lumix GX-9 for the street, as well. Take care, Loren
Congratulations on your selection for the exhibition. You are an international star. We knew this already. I would have enjoyed seeing your images for a longer period. I understand this video was more about the road trip. Love Joshua K Jackson. Very powerful color night images. Surprised you didn’t use either of your GRs for the B&W images. Love the contrasty B&W. What a lovely library and exhibition. Library definitely a 5/5. Sorry you had such a wet weekend. Liked the sheep photo @ 30:00. The sheep on the right looking at you and the contrast. Very nice. There hasn't been a place in Denmark I've been where people are not casually engaging in artistic projects. Simple things like taking care of their garden is done with an artistic approach, while in most other places I've been seen as either a chore or simply a meditating job to do, the Danes are engaging with it differently. Of course that's from my experience.
Been to Esbjerg several times - usually going to or coming from Fanö. City never struck me as exciting for photograhpers. Thanks for correcting that. :)
Samual, would you ask Ricoh to put their black and white sensor into a. GR body. Is there a skin on your Nikon, here in Canada the body is a. Shiny pebbly type faux leather look? Keep up the good work😀
I watched your last two videos with great pleasure. Entertaining and informative. I I'm planning to get the Nikon Z f wirh the Voightländer Nokton 40/1.2. What is that strap you are using with the camera?
Hi Samuel, very nice video and really cool shots, especially ‚the nine‘! May I ask, what was the backpack you carried (in the library for example)? Thanks & best!
Wie Du die Zf zur Guten Nacht streichelst! 🤣Hammer! Geht mir genauso seit ich die Zfc habe (halt 'ne Nummer kleiner) ... ich schau sie oft ganz verliebt an und streichele ihr über's "Köpfchen". Noch viel lieber fotografiere ich natürlich mit ihr! 🤣
I really loved the red filter deep monochrome of Nikon Zf. I was already tempted by it to buy and you are not helpful too :D I have never had any intention to buy Ricoh by your videos but you perform better for Nikon in means of marketing, lol :) Enjoyable video as always cheers.
Hi Samuel. Great video. Beautiful images. Very inspiring. Btw, which camera was your filmer David using to record you? Thank you Samuel. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!! They are all edited RAW's but I used the Nikon Profiles such as Flat Monochrome and Deep Tone Monochrome. You would get pretty similar results with the in camera JPEG's. I just added a bit of contrast and used the dehance slider a bit. Only the sheep photo uses a bit of dodge and burn with the background.
@@SamuelStreetlife Thanks for the reply man. I am on the ZF train as well now, so please keep the videos flowing ( so I feel less guilty about my investment ;) )
Great video about your Zf - Denmark trip and beautiful b/w shots! :) I have 2 questions, if I may :) 1. Is the manual focus experience on the Zf the best so far compared to what you had before on digital (rangefinders excluded)? 2. Were some shots edited by you or did you use Nikon mono profiles exclusively (deep mono most)? 3. If yes to the profiles, what settings did you custermize? I tested your flat mono + added contrast and really like it so far :)
Loving the photography and looks like you both had fun. Really enjoying your work and love the tonal range on your B&W. Is this solely down to the lens or is there an element of post production after?
One thing that bugs me aesthetically about retro cameras, is how the modern lenses have a much larger diameter than primes of the past. A Zf with a W-Nikkor S lens adapted onto it looks perfect to me. Exactly the size and proportions I have always wanted a retro FX sensor Nikon to be. It's the only digital camera other than a GR that I would be excited to own and use.
I decided to make the "vlog cam" black and white and uncropped so that you can see what I filmed and what David filmed. It's basically just to differentiate the two different video cameras documenting the trip :)
@@SamuelStreetlife I know, did you make it or find it someplace? Every time I try and search for one to just drag and drop it ends up looking like it was caught on fire or scratch to make it look old. I just want rounded corners but can't seem to find a clean one and I'm too lazy to make my own lol
@@twosdayswithtk haha yeah I made my own in PS! Send me a mail through my website and I can send you my overlay :) or let me know where I can send it to you.
That photo with the stuck sheep is absolutely mindblolwing.
man I haven't had the chance to watch any of your videos for a while now. It's good to see you doing so well and still enjoying your photography
Wonderful video, Samuel. Fantastic photos. Enjoyed it.
The photos in the countryside where stunning. Well done!

Very enjoyable to watch. I loved the richness of the tones in the images.
That sheep photo is gorgeous.
Sheep photo is amazing, love the contrast!!!
You cant beat a good road trip fantastic black and whites 😊
Thanks Samuel, nice video. Amazing pictures of the sheep.
Lol, loves that ZF and Voigtlander combo, I want that too. 😅
Nice trip, nice pictures nice lens (Voigtländer 1.2). Thanks for sharing.

Great exhibition of your work! Fantastic B&W shots in the last third of the vid, and is that so?... danish rabbits hunt geese!?
The dynamic mustache duo 😄
Outstanding!! Well done.
Wie erwartet ist das Video super geworden!
So nice of you to visit Denmark :-)
Wonderful video. I enjoyed it a lot. 🙂VG

Still happy with your stone grey version? Or would you like to switch to another color?
very funny for the sheeps, nice shoots!
Enjoy a video of yours once again, Lintaro, incredible.
32 minutes to hear David' voice and realize that he sounds a bit like Thanos' voice haha
Haha, I can only wish to sound anywhere near like Josh Brolin!

Great road trip always with a dash of humour, the black and white photos are great, I like such videos top.
Wonderful stuff. The last road trip I did was UK to Katowice in Poland, but that was ages ago now.

Sheep photo alone worth the trip

Color is way more interesting.
what happened to the D850 ??????? ( your inner Hipster killed it )
Those could be some of the best pictures you have taken so far. Long live the ZF! Are they all SOOC jpegs or post BW in Lightroom?

Haha 😆 ja ich werde definitiv öfter kleine Trips machen.
I would like to ask where did you get that strap for the ZF :D
In Japan somewhere :) it's a Artisan and Artist strap👍
curious why some of the vlog you show in black and white? or just part of the photos being black and white as well?

ok is there an overlay for rounded corners? I cannot find one at all... am I blind?
What do you mean? I have used an overlay with rounded corners for the blog clips :)
