The problem with building in Fallout 4 and 76 is exactly what you wrote. Basically its appeal is limited to dollhouse makers and interior decorators. It leaves out any intricacy for other groups who like building such as people who like colony managers and process and automation. The outpost builder shouldn't exist for only one subsection of the player-base.

same here, there's so much going on in just the first 10ish hours I've played that I think it will be a fun one to binge and set aside a few times in the coming years. Plus it's cool seeing a new fully fleshed-out world from BethSoft that doesn't have decades of history to catch up on. the whole world's figuring this one out for the first time ever and that's not something you get every day, and it's not something the people who are going to wait a year or two will get, though I fully respect the decision to hold off for mods or more polish if that's what they prefer.

Survival mode will likely consist of higher/max damage output enemies with more health, harsher environmental consequences (weather that can kill you, maybe radiation or ambient atmosphere that can damage you if it doesn’t already exist) and of course a harsher “basic needs” system, where you’ll need to monitor things like hunger and thirst, instead of just oxygen/Co2. I doubt they will remove fast travel, as it’s a key component to how the game functions.

Im fine with people liking it, but after I gave it 100 hours now.... its.... Overwhelmingly bland, sterile, and uninspired. If I could compare to it anything.... It's allot like room temperature chicken noodle soup. Chicken noodle soup is... safe, and simple, but it's not exactly creative, or pushing boundaries. The soup is room temperature, because by the time you get around to eating the actual chicken and noodles, you've just been slowly spoonfed broth for 4 hours. When the 10% of a game you've made is actually hand crafted, and the other 90% is watered down, radiant ai generated filler, you can barely say you've made a game at all. And even the hand crafted content is mid at best. Do NOT recommend spending a cent, or a second of your life to play this disaster. Any hope for elderscrolls 6 I had tucked away somewhere is dead.

I want and am expecting Skyrim and Fallout 4 in space, which means based on JuiceHead’s comments that I’m going to be delighted. I don’t expect perfection, because a game of this scope would be near impossible to do currently (ie full immersion and universe simulation). I was surprised in one sense to see his critique stating it’s not a 10/10 game for him, as I had expected it if I’m honest from the level of coverage, and to describe the main quest as getting ‘tedious’ at points is also a huge surprise. I appreciate the honest review though, and it’s better we temper expectations than get over hyped to the point of expecting true perfection.

      Lvl 1 argonian pacifist thief.
Or a lvl 1 battle orc for the companions.
Or a lvl 1 dark elf for the dark brotherhood.
Made faction quests more than just trivial, they were quite hard cause you had no power or skills.
Even railroad in fallout 4 was hard if from the vault you went straight to them. Synth laser weapons cut you like butter and your weapons did sweet fa damage to them.
You don’t even have to do the main quest or join a faction, be whoever you wanted to be.
A survivalist murdering people just to eat them.
Or an adventurer going where he pleases in the pursuit of gold.
