    This is the one I’ve been waiting for. Quesada looks great for our needs, property prices seem a little more expensive though. Dona Pepa seems to be the fave location. Thank

    It was very quiet in Quesada and I suppose you would not expect it to be different than anywhere else at the moment but at least you got some clear shots. There was much work in progress 12m ago but some of the shopping areas are now looking good when they open up properly. I read some comments and yes, there are a lot of Brits in these quarters. That main street on an evening would be very vibrant but never got to try it out. Like red wine, and soberano too much so stayed more local. Thanks for your vlog, with the temps rising now must be hard work doing all that walking and talking.

    We had Calpe/Benissa at the top of our list to move to, but now Quesada/Rojales is quickly becoming top. 30 mins closer to airport, cheaper properties and it looks right up our street! Great vid, can't wait to visit in person to check it out. Hopefully some good schools. We'll be buying next year and final move early 2024.

    The trouble with Quesada is that there are too many Brits! Yes, there are other nationalities but the majority of people in this town are British. That's great if you want that sort of thing but for me buying a property in Spain was about embracing the Spanish culture. I had Quesada on my list of areas to visit and a get a feel for the town, after a few days and nights we decided it wasn't for us. The type of place where you walk into a bar and all the locals stare at you! Eventually we found our forever home down the coast, yes more expensive but in a beautiful area that has not been commercialised. If you are looking for a property PLEASE visit the area first before committing to purchasing - All the best.

    • @britslivinginspain
      @britslivinginspain  3 роки тому +1

      We agree- each area isn't for everyone- Andy wouldn't live in Quesada, for example, but each person is different...
      Thanks for watching 👍

    Can I ask, why do you have such irritating music, that overshadows your informative commentary?

    • @britslivinginspain
      @britslivinginspain  3 роки тому

      The audio levels were all out on this video, various factors. It isn't the same on all devices we have found as well...

    • @georgegrant4321
      @georgegrant4321 3 роки тому

      @@britslivinginspain Is there a reason why you have music? It takes away from the whole experience. Maybe its just me, but I find it difficult listening to what you're saying with music in the background. Especially that type of music. Thanks for replying.

    • @britslivinginspain
      @britslivinginspain  3 роки тому +1

      Usually to help break up the background noise. The issue with this video was mainly the gopro being used without the mics- and the editing software didn't do a great job of noise cancelling (hence why on some devices it sounds different)
      We're trying to make sure as a rule now when using the gopro to use the mics (although that has been an issue in the past)- we keep learning, though ;-)

  • @theavenger3363

    Why did you ruin this with that music?

    • @britslivinginspain
      @britslivinginspain  2 роки тому

      We thought it was OK, and had (favourable) comments previously asking what it was on other videos. Not everybody is going to like the same thing. Thanks for watching.
