@@squeezter I disagree. It’s all about execution in the score of a film. Of course if you lay something like this right on top of a scene without consideration for how it fits with the cuts, sound FX, and overall feel, it’s not gonna sound great. But the same thing could be said for a lot of music that has actually ended up working really well in a lot of films-but only because there was an effort made to integrate it well.
TL;DR: I think how you use it matters just as much as what it is.
