When I first started building we did “Mani Monday” $5 off any manicure, “Feet Friday” 15% off any pedicure which basically comes out to $5 off. We did “Mimosa Sunday” complimentary mimosa with any service. And it was successful. Once I was booked on those days like 2-3 weeks booked out and I had a steady clientele I stopped offer the service. A select few complained and I just told them I don’t have room to fit any new clients so I can’t offer those discounts. The select few stayed with me and just started booking on days that were easier for them to come in because let’s face it 1 me and multiple clients wanting the 5, 6 or 7pm evening appointments on those days so it was hard for them to get in. I now offer those promos with new techs to help them build their clientele.
I am a hair stylist and the stain resistant is the only topcoat I ever use on my own nails. It stays bulletproof. Permanent, Demi, and direct stain dyes never stain my nails now.
I really want the slick pour kit! But I ordered the large mystery box....I don't know if I should order the kit, that could be in the large mystery box! How long will the sale prices last? Any chance the mystery box will show up before the sale ends?

Can you guys make a video on how often a client should get a new full set? I know everyone’s nails are different but would you recommend all clients getting a new set let’s say after every 3rd or 4th fill in?
Tracey has said she doesn't soak off, she files off. They have said it also depends on the nail look and if the color of the acrylic has changed, it's time for a new set.
I’m about to graduate from my nail program next month and this was so helpful!!! I thought about doing a referral special because of covid I wouldn’t be able to take one client plus friend but I thought maybe bring a friend and $5-10 off for each? Any feedback on that idea would be so helpful ❤️
Habib addressed this once. It used to be third party people raising up the prices so now YN sells on amazon to set the price. They didn’t want to sell on Amazon but selling it themselves was less hassle in the end. So they are real YN products.
I have order YN products on Amazon. The only reason I did was because I saved money on shipping since I have amazon prime and got the item next day. The prices on Amazon are higher than YN website.
What do you guys think about referral programs for booked techs? If you offer a discount, it’s going into your income? Or would you do it anyways? Would you offer a loyalty program? Would you send them a thank you note in the mail with a starbucks card after their referral booked? With a giftcard or voucher for your business? What are your thoughts?

When you talk about hooking up stylists...does your no stain topcoat help against color getting on their nails?

My salon does specials all the time. I don't participate though. Its a big no for me mostly. I feel like it devalues the quality of my work.
