This is more risky than the ironing method. Heat gun is way to close to the leather and he puts it damn next to it. It’ll burn the shit out of that leather
Shoe stretch is meant to stretch leather, like the name implies. After this process, the toe box will become roomier and the leather will lose some of its rigidity because it has stretched out. This will cause even more creasing with additional wear. User beware.
As someone who has been using this method for years, that is simply just not the case. If you used it with a stretcher inside, it will help it stretch out but it is not going to give it any more room by applying heat. In fact, Angelus will even recommend this product for removing creases now.
yeah, you can’t say something this rare is over hyped. obviously having an eye for the color is taste, but this was a great and easy restore on a very rare sneaker.
Hey man, quick question: I order/ship a lot of shoes internationally. Usually to and from Australia.I live in Virginia, so they typically go from my post office to NY, to the destination country. However, in the last two weeks or so, they have been going through LA instead and all of my packages have been horribly delayed with no updates for long periods of time. Obviously the virus situation has gotten increasingly dire in the last couple weeks, but I wondered if you were experiencing the same issues with your international packages?
Honestly I think La is a risqué place to go through with shoes especially Jordan’s and pairs that are in high demand. But that was 2y ago did you ever find out?
@@ivanstopfiringandfixthetur7790 I can't remember exactly what pair(s) this comment was about, but I believe they all eventually made it to their destination. However, there were pairs that took up to 3 months to get where they were going. On a good week, they could make it in less than 10 days.
Me thinking I don't have to risk my shoes with this no iron method and then going to the comments and seeing "yo that heat gun is so close!" "Way more risky than ironing" "this is way too scaryy"
Will this technique burn the leather at all, how do you know how long to do it, and can it get the creases out of the sides and back of the sneaker ... also do you have to use the spray or will this work with just heat gun, or even hair dryer!??
Oh aight wish I read this sooner, I did this with a heat gun on a pair of beater 'he got games, but without the spray and I melted part if the leather, I also melted a good chunk of the glue that I had to go back and reglue, so kinda a mess!
Question on my Jordan 1 lows would I be able to do this to the side I’m new in the shoe game and haven’t creased the toe but it’s gotta weird single wave on the outside left shoe not sure what I did to create that
What type of heat gun do you use? What heat power is being put out on a min and max level. Looking to try this and don’t want to buy something too crazy. Do you have a link?
Wanting to do this to my shattered backboard 3.0’s that I bought for retail and wore a lot because I thought the shoe was hated enough for the value to not shoot that high lmao
Nothing makes those Rust pink joints look more overpriced than your channel, surrounded by true grails 😆 makes that Rust pink look like a robbery (I was more into the Igloo but the Pink 1s are nice too)

Agree
Agreed and it takes longer
yeah all that risks to get rid of a few creases, seems like the cons out-weigh the pros
That is super ballsy lol but props to hitting the Basels with this technique for our education. I think the ironing method is safer
Can we talk about how blazed homie looks
That’s what I thought too haha
Loving that intro! Keep up the awesome videos!
Glad you're liking it! I have some great restos on deck
What not try to combine techniques like u can put the spray on and then try and use an iron 🤔
No
It worked so good until i looked at the toe box it ever so slightly melted the shoe can only tell up close 🤦🏽♂️

What temperature should the heat gun be on?
Love the videos! Keep them coming man!

Great vid! Need the vid on the dunks and royal restorations for sure!
Hello, Can I use a hair dryer?
Does it work with patent leather shoes?
hell no
Thatll melt then you have a real Oreo 11 LMAO
cost of heat gun plus stecher spray is probably more than a half decent iron. But an interesting way to do it w/o an iron
Heat gun $25
Shoe stretch $5

Is it a good idea to use a plastic shoe tree instead a shirt?
Would this work with a Jordan 3 cement or would the elephant print burn?
im not sure
Will this work on patent leather ?

It won’t burn cause it’s wet from the spray and once the spray dries up start to remove the heat and repeat
Hair dryer works and it removes all creases on ankles n anywhere else

Yo! Need to get the creases out of my 2003 dunk hi prm Eric Haze. Feel like it’ll do fine?
Can I do hair dryer
Just got some pine green Jordan 1s, thanks
anybody know how to avoid melting the old factory glue?
Question on my Jordan 1 lows would I be able to do this to the side I’m new in the shoe game and haven’t creased the toe but it’s gotta weird single wave on the outside left shoe not sure what I did to create that
So why not use a blow dryer that's alot of heat but not too much
What type of heat gun do you use? What heat power is being put out on a min and max level. Looking to try this and don’t want to buy something too crazy. Do you have a link?
Here is my newest one: amzn.to/3aRBVFv Basically you want one with a low/high setting. I only use low and just adjust the distance away.
Wanting to do this to my shattered backboard 3.0’s that I bought for retail and wore a lot because I thought the shoe was hated enough for the value to not shoot that high lmao
Would this work on very heavily creased shoes
Does it work with a hairdryer too?
Not hot enough!!!!
Shoe stretch is only a "heat protector"
Just take heat protection for hairs , cheaper and same effect
Food is made out of alcohol
Any idea, if this method works without spray, and what is a good hair heat protector!??
My man look and move like he is high loll
Use soul trees and just do it at the end of the day, u don't have creases for a long Time, it's not dangerous, easier, and cheaper.
Amazing channel.
I’m going to have to stick to the iron hahah good job though!
Word this look too dangerous loll
When I did this on my shoes I wasn't prepared for the smell which was like beef.
I really like the creases on the SBB, the leather is fire and they just look folded up but I dig it, not sure why
I will stick with the iron

Watch ya neck! This man is coming! Fire vid bro! Keep that pressure coming! $teel City in dis bitch!#
I did this on my CDP 1's and all it did was soften up the leather and make it more loose 🤦♂️
What heat number you used
@@tdpmtn2888 I had it close to 800 degrees
I guess this stuff would be cool if you were restoring and flipping beat pairs. Creases on pairs I wear do not bother me AT ALL.
U can do just stuff anything overnight and boom gone
Didnt work for me😪
Omg this is so extra and time consuming.
is it tho it works better than the iron method
It's really not using the iron is time consuming but if ur a sneaker head nothing takes too much time
Don’t do it, my shit caught on fire
Good 2 know
Dude. The amount of time and heat u apply is ridiculous. Iron method easier, faster, and safer tbh
*Why would you waste a whole bottle of this shit? Just use an iron, don't waste time, don't hurt urself in the process. No need for this at all*
lmao worst video ive ever seen.... just use the iron method, WAY safer and as effective!
It's not even 5ooo lmao
